Vanessa' Point of View

I woke up feeling a bit light headed trying to remember what happened. I look around, and notice I was in my room. Maybe Jacob turning into a wolf was a dream, then I notice something on my forehead. A table cloth? maybe it wasn't a dream at all. Then I heard movements coming from downstairs and people talking about me? Weird because I usually don't hear stuff far away like this. But... I decide to ear dropped on the conversation anyways.

Emily
Sam how are we going to tell her about the secret, she needs to know

Family secret? What family secret?

Sam
maybe she forget what happened

Oh no I didn't, I better be quiet and listen, so I could hear what their talking about.

Emily
Sam she's going to find out someday, especially when they'll be changes in her

Changes what changes?

Sam
Look Emily I don't want to talk about this! She not ready, I'm not ready! I don't want her to be a member of the pack yet it's too dangerous!

That's when the yelling and bickering from Sam and Emily stopped. I froze and heard someone slammed the front door shut, and I heard crying probably from Emily, coming from downstairs.

I look out the window to find it raining again. Stupid La Push rain! Then I saw something below and didn't want to see, Sam phasing into a wolf just like Jake! Ugh I told myself I didn't want to say that name again! I was too pissed with him!

I headed out my room, I was done with this, all the lies and secrets. I was done with being order to go up to my room every time something dangerous come along and Sam needs to protect us from something or someone.

I heard Emily yelled my name to come back into the house, I didn't care I was still upset. Rain kept pouring down in the La Push area, but I didn't care I just ran into woods feeling free.

I heard howling from the decent, Sam told me that their werewolves around and how they howl a lot to communicate. And that they were their to protect the people, our people from getting hurt.

I stopped running when I didn't recognize where I was, I was lost. I haven't been in the woods a lot since I was little, but Sam told me if I ever got lost in the woods I would stay put.

That's what I did, I waited but I got scared when I heard a branch crunch, I froze and looked around me. I heard brushes rumbling the bushes and I scream out.

Vanessa
Who's there?!

I was frightened, I waited until something came out it was a wolves. It had a nice color too, it was light brown color kind of tarnish, and it had those familiar eyes I love to look into but, I was never gonna name it because that person broke my heart.

I heard it howl and went to leave but I stopped it.

Vanessa
Wait don't leave!

The wolf stopped and turned back around looked into my eyes but frowned, if wolves could frown but it look like it did. When the wolf notice nothing like he was trying to search something in my eyes or something.

I went close to the wolf and pet its fur gently and the wolf liked it and I smile.

Vanessa
You remind me of someone

The wolf looked at me and crocks his head to the side like he was confused waiting for me to finish.

Vanessa
you remind me of my ex's boyfriend J-Jacob

The wolf whimpered a back away a bit, and I looked confused when I mention his name.

Vanessa
You guys both got the pretty big brown eyes but yours are bigger

I said rubbing its head and purred, like it like and I smiled, but I stopped smiling when I heard another brunch crack and bushes moving.

Both of our eyes moves to the bushes, and out came my brother Sam, with shorts but shirtless, and I frown when I saw the look on his face. I was in trouble.

Sam
There you are Vanessa

Vanessa
Yeap here I am

Sam looked toward the wolf and Sam nods to it, the wolf nods back and howls before running off and I looked at Sam confuse.

Sam
Come on I'll explain later, right now we need to discuss what happened

I sighed and followed Sam back home after he comforted about me about my punishment, for what happened earlier before I fainted.

Emily hugged me when we enter, and told me to never run off like that again. We sat down at Emily's place sitting in her kitchen table, Sam and Emily, sitting next to each other, and Sam sitting across from me.

Sam told me the legends of wolves and vampires, and told me that they were real and that the vampires that he called the cold ones or the blood suckers are our enemies, and we were never to trust them, or let them cross our lands, and that would be breaking the treaty. And how the wolves like to be shapeshifters and are the good kind that protect and save the people.

He also mention about elderly people who come by time from time to check to see me and the pack and also the Cullens how they weren't allowed to cross by our land, which he also talked to me about making me feel a whole lot calmer.

He told me how all the vampires had powers but focus more on the Cullen. He also then told me and the guys being wolves and it was a bit shocking at first but then he told me about imprinting, and how him and Emily got together.

He trembled a bit on talking about the scars on Emily's face but Emily squeeze his hand to continue, making him smile, and he kissed her making me smile as well, I wished I could have someone like that.

Sam
any questions?

Sam asked me, and I actually did have one, and I want to mention this to him hoping he answer.

Vanessa
um... Sam how come you never told me this before

Sam
*Sighs and looks to Emily and squeeze her hand then look to me* I thought I was just protecting my family, from keeping this to you, but I know I'm just hurting my family by not telling you

Vanessa
I'm glad you finally told me

Sam
*smiles at Emily and I* I'm glad I did too

Emily kisses him, making me smile, and him, and I went over to them and hug them both from behind.

Vanessa
I love you guys *burying her head in the crock of Sam's neck*

Emily/Sam
*smiles* we love you too

Sam
now that we got that settled, let's talk punishment

I groan and said.

Vanessa
can't we talk punishment later, I mean I learn my lesson, I already got the lecture from the both of you. I want to head to the beach

Sam
will go to the beach over the weekend right now, we need to discuss things with you

Vanessa
*sighs and sits down with them* fine

Sam and Emily went over the rules with me again, and told me how it was irresponsible for me to drive without somebody with me, or to run off on my own, with no one with me. I was grounded for two weeks, for both my actions today, driving without permission and stealing Emily car keys, and running off without letting anyone know where I was going. They allowed me to drive still, but I still had to be with someone older which is totally unfair!
