your parents died when you were 19. you watched as they were being slaughtered not able to move. you found some weapons to protect yourself. you managed to pin the demon down with a few knifes and waited till sunrise. you watched as the demon slowly began turning into dust. as you turned back you saw your parents bodies. clawed, bitten. when a few hours past of you crying you managed to bury there bodies and soon you were on your way. you decided it would be best if you helped other people when there were demon attacks. you went off on your journey to kill weak demons. when someone approached you. they offered to take you in and you accepted. he didnt tell you his name. he soon learned about you being able to kill demons. he taught you how to do breathing styles. you managed to create your own. soon when your training was done you were sent to final selection. you have managed to make a friend there. you talked for a while until they announced when the final selection would begin. soon it began. you slaughtered many demons and helps some people. you went off to another part of the forest when you encountered a demon. it looked big. it looked strong. and you saw the dead bodies of a lot of people. one of the bodies happened to be your friend. it looked like he could still breath. as memories of when your parents have been murdered you filled with anger. you used your breathing technique and slashed the demons neck. you carried as much bodys that were still warm back. some had made it. some had not. you stood beside your friend as he/she thanked you for saving people and soon went onto the afterlife.

A few weeks had passed when you heard a knock at the door. you opened it to see a tall man wearing a weird looking mask.

"Hello do you need something-?"

"My name is Hotaru Haganezuka. i came to give you your Nichirin sword"

Your face lit up when you heard about your Nichirin sword. you let him inside your house and soon he started to explain about the Nichirin sword. After he finished explaining he handed you your sword and then it changed it's color. "Beautiful". Haganezuka announced. after you were getting use to holding it haganezuka came up to you. you looked at him and he began to speak. he was threatening you not to break the sword. you nod quickly and then he left.

~two months later~

you were sent somewhere to kill a demon it was dark and hard to see. when you encountered the demon you quickly grabbed your sword and went towards it. you slashed at its neck but it was hard. the demon wasn't very strong but it did have a hard neck. soon you managed to cut its head off. but your sword broke. you remembered when Haganezuka threatened you. you were cursing at yourself when you got back to your small house.

~a few weeks passed~

you saw haganezuka walking towards you. then he pulled out a knife and started chasing you. he was fast but couldn't climb the tree so you were safe as long as he calmed down. soon he calmed down and gave you your sword. he threatened you again. you began being more careful when you fought demons. you also went on some missions with a few other demon slayers. you wanted to help many people when they couldn't beat a demon. you looked forward to helping out as many people as you could. years had passed and your rank was almost to a pillar. you reached adulthood and thats when you started to have feelings for haganezuka. you would always ask if you could go to the village and they would sometimes accept. when you got to the village everyone already knew who you were and said hello to you. you went over to haganezukas place when you got there you had the courage to confess to him.
