Hello again!
Who thought I would leave again? I also forgot to write because of the crazy recording schedule; we might get our own little second album. Last week, all of us had a fight about the name of the album. I did what I usually do, sit in a corner and observe. But well, Trisha, Neil's sweetheart picked the name of the album, and to be very honest, she did a great job, she named the album,
Dione's Tripping. As crazy as it sounds, I'll tell you why we went with this and how Trisha thought of it.
Trisha is our group's astronomer, she tells us random facts about Jupiter and our moon, and reads us the newspaper. That day, she was insanely high and was reading the newspaper, and started laughing after reading the word Dione, when asked, she said, "Dione" and started laughing again. Drish, (also high) screamed, "Bhai, fuck Dione" and there, Trisha looked at us, intensely and said, "That's it. DIONE'S TRIPPING" and we stopped fighting and went to Chacha's tapri for chai and fags. The good thing is that we are sticking to the theme of Galaxy. Thanks to Drish and Trisha.
We've been recording and recording and recording. I couldn't write for around ten days which made things worse, but a trip to Goa definitely helped. I wrote A Walk to Death there, inspired by our midnight walks. Subash and Das decided their date of marriage there, they are to get married on the 25th of October, right after Das' birthday.
I never told you about my date with Sunaina, well, we stuck to casual sex and she moved away somewhere in Bangalore with her group of friends. Trisha stayed back and lives with us now. Drish came out to us in Goa, when we found him kissing a guy, who is his current boyfriend, Tiwari, Kapil Tiwari, confessing his attraction towards men. Tiwari lives just a station away and gets along well with us, in fact, Das and Tiwari think they have a KK connection and they share afternoons together and talk about politics.
For me, I don't think I'll be able to meet my girl, and I don't even wish to, it complicates life, besides for my birthday they got me a lot of books, records, and a lot of weed, we had whiskey and this time, Drish paid. So, I am officially in a relationship with books, music and weed. Currently, I've been reading short stories by D.H Lawrence. I don't know what else to write, but yes, this is me saying to you that I am happy and that I love people who have stuck with me.
I also met ma earlier this month, before leaving for Goa. She complained about how she thought I was growing thin and wasn't taking care of myself, the business is going well I suppose, she didn't say a lot to me, I met Leena, a childhood fling, lives opposite to their flat, she's pregnant, apparently, her smile hasn't changed even a bit, was wearing a dull green night gown and was picking up packets of milk. Ma told me her boyfriend will marry her after he's back from Navy. Ma also asked me if I was ever going to get married, I changed the topic and asked her about her book club.
I do not know what's in store for me but I know that there's going to be a lot music that is yet to be produced and a quaint marriage.
Fin.
