Episode 8 [Final Episode]

[Time Skip - After a Week]

Yoongi's P.O.V

I was eagerly waiting for this day since last week. It has finally come. Today, for the first time ever, I'll be going on a date with my Y/n. I could barely sleep last night due to excitement, but I knew that I had to look good in front of her. So I somehow tried to sleep.

It was seven in the morning. I shot open my eyes as soon as the alarm rang. I headed straight to the washroom to get freshen up. I took a bath. After coming out from the washroom, I wore this:

When I was all ready, I took a special blue box out of my closet. It contained a proposal ring for her. Yes, I was going to propose her to marry me. Then I texted Y/n:

Yoongi: "Good morning love!"

Y/n: "Hey love! Good morning!"

Yoongi: "Are you ready?"

Y/n: "Almost baby!"

Yoongi: "Ok I'm coming to pick you up."

Y/n: "No need baby, text me the address, I'll drive there myself."

Yoongi: "You sure?"

Y/n: "Yes. Now text me the address already! I can't wait to see you!!"

Yoongi: "Okay. Bye hun! See you soon!"

Y/n: "Bye love💜"

I texted her the address. I got out of my house, sat in the car and started driving. I couldn't wait to meet her!

After about 25minutes, I reached the restaurant. It was sort of an open restaurant with beautiful cherry blossoms all around. I sat in front of a table waiting for her when I heard someone calling out my name.

"Yoongi-aah!!"

I looked around to see Y/n peeping her head out of her car window and waving at me. Her car was standing at the crossroad. I waved at her happily and indicated her to come.

Author's P.O.V

Y/n started crossing the road when a large truck hit her car. The car rolled over twice. The vehicle was completely smashed. Yoongi witnessed all this with his own eyes.

Yoongi's P.O.V

I could not believe what I just witnessed. Y/n's car rolled over; she met an accident. I was left completely senseless. A drop of tear slowly escaped my eyes as I gulped.

"Y/N!!!"

I shouted at the top of my voice and running towards her. When I reached her car, I looked down only to see Y/n's hand. I slowly saw blood flowing down her hands. I was very frightened. I called for help. I cried uncontrollably. People tried to convince me that she'll be alright. I tried hard to believe them.

Soon after, rescue team from a hospital came and tried to rescue Y/n. Her face was completely damaged, covered in blood. I still couldn't belive what I was seeing. I tried to stay calm but my tears couldn't be controlled. It was as if the world shattered into pieces in front of my eyes, and I could see it but do nothing.

We arrived at the hospital. She was immediately taken inside the Operation Theatre. I requested the doctor to allow me in but he said he couldn't. However, he consoled me and said that everything would be alright.

[Time Skip - After 4 hours]

Yoongi's P.O.V

It's been four hours since Y/n had entered the  room. I was waiting outside. I prayed for Y/n with all my heart and soul and mind.

After a few minutes, the red light of the operation room went off and the doctor came out. Gathering all my courage and hope, I hurriedly went to him and asked if the operation was a success.

Yoongi: "Doctor, how is she? Did it go well? She is ok, right?"

Doctor looks down, *no answer*

Yoongi: "Please say something doctor!"

The doctor finally spoke...

Doctor: "I am sorry, she is no more."

I stood still, trying to process everything. I couldn't belive his words. Y/n cannot leave me like that.

My blood boiled. I know that this wasn't the fault of the doctor, but I couldn't control myself.

Yoongi: [fiercely holding the collar of the doctor's coat] "You have killed her! You have killed my Y/n! How dare you snatch her away from me? Do you think I will let you do that?? Return me my Y/n!! RIGHT NOW!!"

Doctor: "Please let me go! It's not my fault! She was already dead when you brought her here in the first place!"

I fell on my knees. I tried to control myself but of no use. I cried uncontrollably. At last I requested the doctor,
Yoongi: "Doctor, can I see her for one last time?"

Doctor: "Okay."

I entered the room where Y/n's body was kept. I covered my mouth to stop the crying noises, but it was of no use as muffled noises still managed to escape somehow. My heart ached so much seeing her in that manner. I slowly took her hand in mine, and said,
"Why Y/n? Why? You pr- promised never to leave me! Ho- how could you do this to me Y/n? Pl- please do- don't leave me again!"

My voice kept on stuttering. I couldn't control myself after seeing my only love lay unconscious in front of my eyes. I still couldn't believe that she was no more with me. Suddenly the doctor came in, and said,

Doctor: "We have to take her body now."

Most unwillingly I said,
Yoongi: "I know. But before that..."

I took out the blue box which contained the ring of proposal. I slowly took it out and with the most gentle touch, I held her hand and slided the ring in her ring finger.

Seeing this the doctor said,
Doctor: "Why did you give this to her when you know that she can never be with you?"

Yoongi: "I know that very well doctor. I have heard that a human takes birth seven times. I made her wear this ring so that if by any possibility, I meet her in any birth, I can recognise her and make her mine again. I hope to love her a hundred times more in that birth than I love her now so that nobody can separate us, not even th Almighty."

Doctor: "But, how will you recognise her? Thousands of similar rings like these are made all around the world."

Yoongi: "No Doctor. This one's special. This is the only ring that has engraved in it,
I LOVE YOU Y/N. DON'T LEAVE ME! "

With that, with teary eyes, I saw her face for one last time before bidding her farewell.

"Not every story has a happy ending. We expect much more than we actually get. So we should all learn to accept the reality and move on, no matter how hard it seems."
