"Guess what? We have a special guest today who's going to give us an insider's look at the ordinary life of a famous Pokemon Coordinator! Who, you wonder?" Lisa chirped, all hyped up. "The Pokemon Contest Champion, Master Rank winner of all categories, and the dream boy I've always wanted to talk to...... its RUBYYYY!"

Sapphire growled at her Pokedex screen. "THAT ABSOLUTE JERK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed, shaking her Pokedex.

"Whoa there, Sapphire," Emerald winced. "You know Ruby likes you,"

"Yeah, I know, but that doesn't make it okay!" Sapphire looked at Emerald, annoyed.

"Why don't we just watch Ruby?" Emerald suggested. Inside, of course, his Franticshipping alarm was going crazy, but he ignored that for now.

"Okay," Sapphire settled down and stared at her Pokedex screen.

"So, Ruby, what do you do in your free time?" Lisa asked giddily.

"Well," Ruby pondered. "I... take care of Sapphire and my Pokemon... Sapphire and I train... I have video conversations with my relatives... I hang out with Sapphire and Emerald... and I hang out with Sapphire. Yeah, that's it,"

"That's a lot of Sapphire!" Lisa jumped in surprise. " What is your relationship to her?"

"Uh..." Ruby blushed. "I... um..."

"Oh my!" Lisa gasped. "It seems that Ruby, the ultimate Pokemon Contest Champion, may have a crush!"

"Actually, it's not that," Ruby's blush turned tomato-red. "Sapphire and I are... dating,"

"REALLY?!?" Lisa screamed. "OHMYGOSHNOICAN'TBELIEVEITACKNO!!!"

"You okay?" Ruby asked, confused.

"Y-yeah," Lisa slowly regained her composure. "Next question! Um... who's helped you to be one of the best Pokemon Coordinators in just 80 days???"

"Well, Sapphire, of course!" Ruby smiled.

"Aaaanyone else?" Lisa asked, her voice as cold as ice.

"Well, Wallace," Ruby supplied.

"My uncle!" Lisa remarked.

"Yep," Ruby replied. "And, in his own, way, my dad,"

"Norman!" Lisa told the viewers.

"Okay, all our fans!" Lisa stretched her arm out as if to pull everybody watching through the screen. "It's your turn! Type in a few questions that you want to ask Ruby! You get five minutes, and your device will have a digital keyboard to type for 5 minutes starting... now!"

Time's up!" Lisa announced. "Let's see what the questions are!"

"First one?" Ruby asked.

"Oh! This is an interesting one!" Lisa turned to face both Ruby and the camera filming the show as the screen behind her popped to life, showing the first question: 'What was your first Pokemon? By Emile'

"Well, Emile," Ruby fingered a Poke ball Sapphire recognized to be Rara's. "By first Pokemon was Rara, my Gardevior, as a Ralts,"

"And speaking of Ralts," Lisa pressed a button on the remote in her hand that didn't hold the microphone. "Our next question! 'How did your Kirlia evolve into a Gardevior and not Gallade? My Kirlia evolved into Gallade but I wanted a Gardevoir! How did this happen? Sincerely, Filecity'

"Actually, I don't know the details on Rara evolving," Ruby laughed, a beautiful sound to Sapphire. "Sapphy evolved my Rara and her Kirly, and she said Kirly evolved into a Gallade because of a Dawn Stone. That's why yours evolved - your Kirlia accidentally touched a Dawn Stone,"

"Great job, Ruby!"Lisa congratulated him. "Next question!" The screen changed again: 'Can you see me at L.T. Park tonight? Signed, Millisa <3'

"Nope!" Ruby declared. "I have plans tonight already!"

The questions for Ruby kept coming, and Sapphire didn't learn a thing - except that Ruby's fangirls really, really liked him. But there was one question that sent a jolt of electricity through both Ruby and Sapphire - 'Ruby, we haven't seen each other for a while. You think we could meet up at Littleroot River next Monday? I miss you! -Courtney'

Ruby thought for a while. "Well... if you want to date me, I'm not available - Sapphy and I will always be together. But I suppose you could be considered my friend, so go to Littleroot River next Monday and I might come... but, of course, with Sapphire,"

Emerald looked at Sapphire. "You going?"

"If Ruby wants ta," Sapphire replied.

"Okay, next!" Lisa changed the screen to the last question: 'What are your current goals? Ashlie'

"I'm going to explore Hoenn with my friend Emerald and, or course, Sapphy - and I have some cousins coming to Hoenn soon, so I may want to see them. Then, I don't know... Sapphy and I will probably go to another region,"

"Well, that's it, folks!" Lisa chirped. "I hope you enjoyed this exclusive interview with Ruby! Lisa, out!" Lisa and Ruby flashed away, leaving Sapphire's screen blank.

"Fume in 3... 2... 1..." Emerald counted down.

"AAAAARRRRRRGGGHHH!!! THAT JERK!!!" Sapphire yelled madly.

"Uh, Sapphire?" Emerald interrupted Sapphire's mad rant. "Don't you have to do something with Ruby?"

"Oh yeah!" Sapphire jumped up, brightening. "Troppy!" Troppy, her Tropius, appeared, and she jumped on.

"Gotta go!" Sapphire waved, zooming away.

Emerald sighed. "Does she think Ruby just wants to say hi and annoy her or something, or does she know it's a date?"

Ruby waved to Sapphire as she landed. "There you are!"

"Hey, Ruby!" Sapphire landed Troppy and let him fly to the forest. "So how ya doin'?"

"Good!" Ruby smiled. "So, this town has a great market! How 'bout we go there? I heard that there are some shops for Poke balls and Medical supplies..."

"Sure, Ruby,"

~As the sun sets~

"Hey, Sapphy?"

"Ruby?"

"You... do know what today was, right?"
"Yes. Ya took me shopping, then ta dinner, and now here, to dis tall hill, to watch da sun set. Dat is what I believe people call a date,"

"Oh, Sapphire Birch..." Ruby took off his hat, laid it on the ground, and rested his head against Sapphire's shoulder. "You are one amazing person,"

"You too, Ruby,"
