the next morning, everybody went through their usual morning routines.

members having showers, washing faces and being dragged out of bed *ahem* sina and han *ahem.*

jeongin, chaeyeong, yuna, felix and seungmin had been snacking on some banana's when the stray kids manager approached them.

"you three will be coming with me today. I will be taking you to the company building" manager-nim stated and the three glanced at each other curiously.

"what will we be doing?" jeongin questioned and the manager just shrugged innocently.

"you will find out when we get there"

the three once again looked at each other as the manager walked off.

"wonder what were doing" felix thought out aloud and the other four nodded.

after getting fully dressed, the five were lead straight to the Micheal Jackson room in which they were told to wait for jyp's arrival.

"we're not in trouble are we?" chaeyeong nervously put out and the other two faced her.

"i hope not" yuna giggled which got them all laughing too.

"i mean we haven't done anything bad..." jeongin dragged his words before the three shared knowing glances.

"yet" they all said in union before bursting out into giggles and chuckles.

"you guys are so in sync that it scares me" the manager stated just as the door creaked open.

the three went quiet and turned to bow at whoever entered.

"hello jeongin, chaeyeong, yuna, felix, seungmin" jyp greeted. they all exchanged bows before chaeyeong lightly shoved the two on either side of her to look at the figure who had entered after their boss.

"everybody, this is nina and as you should know she's the youngest of our new girl group NiziU" jyp introduced and the girl shyly smiled.

"hello, it is nice to meet you" she bowed, doing her best to speak korean.

"so i'm sure you all are wondering why i have gathered you all here" jyp began explaining after nina was stood beside the five others.

"now as you know jeongin, yuna and chaeyeong, for the jyp next generation concert, you three were the maknae unit" the three nodded "well this year i wanted to create an album using the maknaes of this company" he explained and the six were all shocked.

"the original plan was that the members were going to be chaeyeong, yuna, jeongin and nina but to balance out the vocals and choreo, we decided to add seungmin and felix" jyp said and the six nodded.

the group went into further detail of their plans, schedules and so on.
and when the meeting was finally over, the six were given time to talk about the plan and get to know their new member.

"are you alright to speak in korean or are you more comfortable in english?" chaeyeong asked politely towards the exotic looking girl.

"i think i would be comfortable with english if that's alright" nina shyly answered which got chaeyeong smiling.

"i'm chaeyeong but you can call me clara-jane or even cj" chaeyeong introduced herself, shaking nina's hand. the others all introduced themselves and they all sat down on the dance practice room floor.

they all chatted about the usual things like how their groups were going, how is nina feeling about debuting and how they all feel about this new group.

nina and chaeyeong had discovered that they were born in the same year so they two immediately hit it off, becoming best friends on the spot.

"we can teach you some korean if you'd like" felix offered which got chaeyeong gigging.

"what's so funny clara?" felix questioned with a straight face.

"i'm sorry felix its just...i think you would be the worst to teach her korean" chaeyeong stated and everyone laughed.

"hey! i'm good at korean now!" felix defended himself, holding his chest dramatically.

"yeah now but back then...not so much" chaeyeong laughed just remembering the days the two would study korean together and mentally struggle.

"we can ALL help" yuna said between giggles and everyone nodded.

"we should all exchange phone numbers" seungmin suggested and they all pulled out their phones and made themselves a groupchat on kakao.

few more minutes passed until nina was called back to practice and with long goodbyes, they all decided it was time to head back to their own schedules.
