Chapter 9

In the hotel, Adhiti was getting super bored. She suddenly remembered the boss's room was on the top floor. She decided to go up there and tell him they should add some entertainment up there instead of the boring tv that she was watching all day. Plus she wanted to go see him.

Something in her heart made he sneak out of the room when he mother was asleep. She knew her mom won't wake up till later.

She tiptoed up to the top floor on the lift that her mother had taught her to use a while back to see a huge enormous door. All the other floors had multiple doors but this one was all of them put together as one.

She knocked on the door as hard as she can.

"Come in." She heard a voice as she walked in and saw a man sitting on the sofa.

"Hello..." she said as he got up started.

"Who are you and what are you doi..." he started but his eyes fell on the lovely eyes that reminded him of his love. Rashmi.

"Wha Tade you doing here child?" He asked.

"I'm Adhiti...what's your name?" She asked running toward him.

"Vijay." He said.

"I'll call you vijay? We're friends now right?" Adhiti asked.

"Sure." He said as she sat on his lap and he wrapped his hand around her.

"Adhiti, how did you find the room?" He asked.

"I...saw the men carrying your wife's picture...they said you're in the top floor."she said.

"Why do you want to see me?" She asked.

"I was bored. Mommy made me stay in hotel cause I ran to the temple without her." She said.

"Well baby, you shouldn't run away like that right? This is not a safe place and it might be very dangerous." He said.

"Ok then.." she was saying as a lady walked inside.

"Granny." Adhiti ran to her as Bijay watched surprise.

"Adhiti darling...what are you doing here?" She asked as Vijay looked at his mom.

"I wanted to see who the owner of this hotel is." She said.

"Well, that's Vijay...my son." She said as Adhiti started to scream in joy.

"Where were you born in darling?" She asked.

"In US. Mommy never brought me here in 5 years." She said as Vijay looked at his mom who looked back.

"What's your mom's name?" Vijay asked.

"Ra..." she started as the huge picture on the wall finally caught her attention.

"Why do you you have my mom's picture here?" Adhiti asked as Vijay smiled in joy kissing her forehead.

"Where is your mom?" He asked.

"She's sleeping in the room." She said.

"Let's go...come on." Vijay said as he walked with Adhiti to their room.

Adhiti tried to open the door but it was locked.

"Oops...mommy found out...she is gonna yell at me now..." Adhiti said.

"Don't worry baby...come let's go to the register's." He said as took her downstairs.

"I'm calling the police right now." Rashmi was yelling worried about her daughter.
