"Look here Adhiti...nothing would have happened to her. Stop saying that cause do you really think she would be happy to know that you were gone? She would have kill herself if I had done that and you don't know what would happen to me if you left me. Don't say that Adhiti." He kissed her forehead and lifted her up.

"She will wake up right?" she asked.

"She will wake up...just for you." He said.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yes...really." He replied with a smile.

"Sir, she is out of danger zone." The doctor came out and announced as Vijay finally got his breath back.

"You may go see her but don't disturb." The doctor said.

Vijay took Adhiti in his arm and raced into the room where she was peacefully sleeping.

"Mommy?" Adhiti said as Rashmika slowly opened her eyes.

"Baby." She said with a smile and touched Adhit's face.

"He's in jail now...like he needs to be." Adhiti said as Vijay smirked which didn't go unnoticed by Rashmika.

Soon, Rashmika was getting better and they returned home. Adhiti was finally happy that her mother and father were safe. Rashmika had never been more happier. She knew there wasn;t going to be any more problems from Raghuram. Without him, they wouldn't have been alive.

One day, Adhiti was watching tv and vijay was sitting next to her one the laptop finishing up work and Rashmika was in laundry room doing laundry.

She came back and sat on the other side of Adhiti. Adhiti had the remote in her hands.

"Give me the remote...it's been enough time since you watched cartoon. It's time to go to sleep." She said.

"But mommy..." Adhiti said.

"Give it to me." Rashmika said in a stern voice.

"Daddy..." Adhiti whined.

"Let her watch." Vijay said not even looking up.

"I swear...if you don't give it to me..." She was trying to pull the remote from adhiti as the channel changed.

"As we all knew, Shekhar, the son of a famous billionaire, Mr. Raghuram was a criminal and had kidnapped, and raped many teenagers and had even sent them into prostitution or sold them." The news said catching Rashmika's attention.

"What the hell?" Rashmika said.

"His body had been found in this dumpyard after so many days. It is believed that he had escaped the police but was stabbed by his enemy." The lady said.

Vijay looked up at the TV as Rashmika looked at him. He looked back at his laptop as Rashmika changed the channel as a few men were discussing something.

"That man had enemies all around the world. How many girls he had raped, it could be any of these girl's family member. It was well deserved." one said.

"His gentials had been stabbed while he was alive." The man said as Rashmika flinched for a sec.

"Adhiti...it's time for bed." Rashmika said as Adhiti watched the man in happiness.

"Mommy..what's gen.." She couldn't say the word properly.

"You will know when you become a big girl but not now ok?" Rashmika said as she took Adhiti away looking at vijay who was still staring at the laptop.

Rashmika layed on the bed next to her until she fell asleep and walked outside to find Vijay still working.

"Why did you kill him? Like that?" She asked.

"What?" He asked looking up.

"It wasn't me." He said looking back down.

"I am not going to believe you mr. I saw you smirking that day when Adhiti said he was going to jail." Rashmika said.
