It was an average Monday, for most people, that is. Garfield never liked Mondays and never will. His alarm clock blared into his ears as usual, making him groan.
He got up anyways, dreading the school day ahead of him. He never liked school, especially on Mondays.
After he got ready and put his school uniform on, he opened the door to see his best friend and long time crush, Jon. " You're early today Garfield!", Jon laughed. "Well today's lunch is lasagna, of course I'll be early." Jon just nodded in response. ..But in Garfield's heart he knew it wasn't because it was lasagna day.. he just wanted to see Jon..
"..feild..! Garfield!!", Jon yelled to him. "Huh? Oh sorry I must've spaced out..", Garfield said, embarrassed to be caught by his crush thinking about him. "Well, we're here"
•Time skip•
It was the end of the day and Garfield started to pack his things. He was the only one in the class.. besides Jon.. Garfield could feel his heart beating faster and faster, while his cheeks flushed. Jon laughed, looking at his best friend, it was quite obvious Garfield liked him, and Jon liked him back. Jon walked over to him, wrapping his arms around Garfield. "W-what are you doing-" Jon cut him off with a kiss. "You know Garfield", Jon whispered to him," you could have just said you liked me."
