Drowning (NOT GARF FIC)

The water felt as if it was compressing me. My lungs screamed for air and I started to choke. I felt something cold and scaly slide past me, but I couldn't see it, my vision was too blurry.

I started to lose conciseness and I soon passed out, sinking to the bottom of the ocean..

Though I woke up later, in a cave. Where am I? A small chittering sound could be heard, making me jump. It was.. a mermaid..?! Though I thought they would be pretty, like in the stories, it was quite nightmare inducing. It had a long, elongated mouth like a beak, and small onyx eyes. Large, webbed hands pulled itself towards me. Mesmerizing blue scales glistened with drops of water on them.

I pulled back, not wanting to be near it. It just crawled further until my back hit the cave wall. It's beak like mouth got closer to me, making me flinch. I could feel it's breath on me, slightly. It then moved it's head back, as if looking at the sky, and stabbed into me with it beak. I screamed in agony. It stabbed me again, but this time in the throat, like it's telling me to be quiet. I started to choke on my own blood, desperate for this hell to be over. It stabbed me again and again, and again. 

         Until I was a motionless pulp on the cave floor.
