"Welcome back!"
"We knew you could do it!"

The crowd cheered for their hero. Naruto looked stunned as he saw that the whole village is standing there, happy for his return.

"They've all been awaiting your return.", Kakashi said. He craned his head to look at Naruto's face, the boy was sitting on Kakashi's back.

- 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚑𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔 -

Naruto's hands were positioned to his forehead protector as he enounced: "My dream is to surpass the Hokage! And make everyone in the village acknowledge me!"

- 𝙴𝚗𝚍 𝚏𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚑𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔 -

Kakashi placed Naruto down. "𝘕𝘢𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘰... 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭!" He thought.

Kids of all age groups ran up to the teen. "Huh? What's this?" Naruto muttered.

Katsuyu creeped out of the blonde's jacket. "I've already relayed to the others every detail of what transpired between you and Pain."

"What was the enemy like anyway?", One boy asked. The other children spoke over another and all of them wanted to make it to Naruto. "Ah, hey!", Naruto exclaimed. "Come on. Stop pushing me around." They laughed.

Hinata rubbed her eye. "𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘰 𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘥, 𝘕𝘢𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘰!"

Shima and Fukasaku smiled together with Gamakichi whose head they stood atop on.

Sakura walked up to Naruto, who was overwhelmed with all the children who surrounded him. "Hey you guys, cut it out, would ya?", Naruto stopped talking. "Huh?" He turned in Sakura's direction.

"Hey Sakura..", Naruto couldn't finish. "You're just so reckless, you idiot!" Her fist met his head. He closed his eyes as his head was about to meet the ground. Sakura cought him around his neck and pulled him into a hug.

Naruto's eyes were wide and his mouth hung open. The wind picked up and flowed through their hair.

"Thank you."

Before anyone could do anything else, their movements stopped. A bright light shone and people vanished into thin air. The objects and creatures,  who were still there, paused. Time stopped.
