This chapter is a little late, but it's also incredibly long... just never felt like a good stopping point, until the point I stopped it. I would love to hear what you think!
P.S. - By the way, the next few chapters may have quite a few pictures scattered throughout the chapter... I like to physically envision things when I'm writing them, so I find pictures of how I want things to look and then write a description, then I post them in the story so you can see too!
Chapter Twenty Two
Tomorrow was it.
The big day.
The biggest day for Julie and Junior. The day that Julie and Brynne had laboriously spent the last four months planning down to the last minute detail, all for it to all come together and hopefully go perfect.
But before they could get to tomorrow they had to get through today.
And today seemed like it was just as busy of a day as tomorrow would be for Brynne and Julie.
Tonight was the rehearsal dinner; the rehearsal itself would be held at The North Carolina Arboretum where the ceremony and reception were going to be held, followed by the actual rehearsal dinner at Dressler's.
Before they could make it to the rehearsal dinner though, they were going to be spending quite a bit of their time during the day making runs back and forth from the airport picking up guests as they arrived in Charlotte from wherever they were flying in from and dropping them off at their hotels.
The week as a whole had been busy between trying to make sure every detail was finalized and gathering all the things they had collected over the months – favors, decorations, the dresses and accessories – and making sure they made their way over to the Arboretum, so come the morning of the wedding they would just physically have to get their bodies to the reception hall and know that everything else would be waiting there for their arrival.
They had made checklists, and when those checklists were complete they had made checklists for the already completed checklists. In the end all it had accomplished was making sure they would be ready!
But above all else today, it was Brynne's job to make sure Julie did not get stressed out or worry about anything, because at the end of the day even if by some chance something did end up going wrong tomorrow, everything would be perfect because at the end of the day she was marrying her soulmate.

"Okay places everyone!"
The guests' - which consisted of Julie and Junior's out of town guests, Julie's parents and Junior's immediate family - sat down in the few chairs that had been set up in the grass for them to be able to relax while they did a quick run through of the ceremony. Karsyn and Kennedy – Junior's nieces – were the flower girls so they hung back with Julie and Brynne at the end of what would officially be the 'aisle' tomorrow as Junior and Martin got set up at the altar. The altar was up, but everything else would be set up and decorated in the morning once the sun came out and dried up the morning dew off the grass, at least that's what Angela – their event coordinator through the Arboretum had told them.
She walked back down the 'aisle' towards the ladies with a quick stride and smiled, "Okay, Brynne you will lead everyone down the aisle... tomorrow we will have music playing to let you know when to go, and I'll be here guiding everyone too."
Brynne turned towards Julie and handed her best friend the bow bouquet they had made out of all the bows and ribbons at her bridal shower – a tradition Julie's family had been doing for as long as she could remember, and one she wanted to continue doing for her wedding, too... carrying this 'bouquet' down the makeshift aisle at her wedding rehearsal. She wrapped her arms around her best friend and grinned, "Let's go practice getting you married!" Then she turned around and smiled at Angela, "I'm ready when you are!"
