Imagine going on an ice cream date with Kai and running into your ex

"What kind do you like?" Kai asked as you stood in line, waiting for ice cream. It was his first time here and he had no idea what to order.

"I like black raspberry, but you might like mint chocolate chip," you suggested and he nodded.

"Alright, I'll get that," he said, and you continued waiting patiently in line. Finally you made it to the front of the line. You ordered, Kai decided to get a mint chocolate chip milkshake, instead of a cone.

You got your ice cream and began walking. The ice cream place was right beside a park, so you walked around their. It was getting darker by the minute, as you walked.

"Wait, y/n is that you?" A voice asked, causing you to stop. You recognized the voice, it was your ex boyfriend. He dated you for three years and then tried to get your sister to sleep with him. She didn't but you still dumped him.

You turned around, along with Kai and looked at him.

"Um, Jason, hi," you said.

"Dang, you look good," he said, looking over you. You did look pretty different, you and him had broken up two years ago. He was very toxic when you were together, causing you to be stressed, making you not look your best.

"Hey buddy, I don't know who the hell you think you are, but I would appreciate it if you would stop flirting with my girlfriend," Kai said, stepping between you and him.

"I'm actually her ex. I figured she would of told you about me. She must not trust you much," your ex said and Kai went to get closer to him, but you stood in the way.

"Jason, leave us alone. I'm doing fine without you," you said, and went to grab Kai, but he wasn't budging, "Kai come on."

"No," Kai stated, and you gave him a questioning look.

"Kai, come on. Don't start," you said, looking as he glared at your ex.

"Yeah, Kai, listen to your little girlfriend don't start," Jason mocked him. You turned to say something to him, but before you knew it, Kai was punching his face. Before Jason could react, Kai was picking his milkshake up off the ground where he had sat it. 

He then dumped it all over Jason's head. Jason gasped, getting angrier by the minute. You almost laughed at Kai's action, but kept your mouth shut.

"You little-," Jason said, wiping the milkshake out of his eyes, but he paused when he saw that you and Kai were already walking away from him.

"Hey!" He yelled, going to chase after you, but Kai turned around and made him fall the ground. He yelled out in pain, as Kai hurt him with his magic.

"Kai! You're gonna make a scene," you said, ending in Kai stopping. Your ex looked at you both with a scared expression on his face.

"What kind of freak are you?" Jason asked, obviously terrified.

"I'm a sociopath," Kai responded, before turning around and continuing walking with you.

"Was that all necessary?" You asked, as you arrived at your car.

"Yes, it was," Kai said, smiling at you, before getting in the car.

"You're unbelievable," you said, finishing up your ice cream. Kai just smiled at you and drove you two home. Let's just say, your ex never bothered you again.
