23~ Promises

Katsuki's POV

It had been 2 weeks since (Y/N) fought that douche, All For One. 2 weeks since she slipped into a coma, and no signs of her waking up. I haven't left the hospital, my mom or Kirishima would drop by every day to bring me food or a change of clothes. I had either been sleeping in the chair or, with nurse's permission cause I ain't trying to get kicked out, on the bed.

I took (Y/N)'s hand in mine and just started talking like I always did. "So, I read an article that when someone is in a coma, they might still be able to hear what's going on around them. I don't know if you can hear me, but I have something to give you when you wake up. I had Kirishima go and pick it up, I already paid for it so it just needed to be picked up. Anyway, it's a promise ring. You're probably wondering what I'm promising. Well, I promise that I'll never leave you, no matter what, and that when we get older I'll put a different ring on your finger. I love you, and I always will." I was in tears by the time I finished my speech.

I felt a hand reach and wipe the tears from my face. When I looked up, I was met with beautiful gem-stone (E/C) eyes. "I love you too, and forever will." I soft smile spread across her lips as her hand tightened around my own. "And I'll hold you to that promise. Now, are you going to put the ring on my finger or not?" She questioned as her smile turned into a sly smirk. Snapping out of my daze, I slipped the black and red ring onto her finger.

After the ring was on her finger, she grabbed my forearms and pulled me towards her. I got the message and stood up, climbing into the bed beside her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and buried my head in the crook of her neck. She placed her arms around my shoulders pulling me closer. Her dominate hand playing with my hair causing me to hum in satisfaction.

I heard the door slide open followed by multiple footsteps but I didn't move. I was comfortable, I tightened my grip around (Y/N) before kissing her shoulder and burrowing further into her neck. I looked at the edge of the bed only to see the entire class along with Aizawa, Present Mic, Midnight, All Might, and Recovery Girl. Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Deku had tears in their eyes. Others just looked sad or worried. That is until (Y/N) gave an uncharacteristically peppy "Hey guys." to them.

The ones that were crying, cried harder and the rest was relieved and happy. Mina bounded over and hugged what wasn't occupied by my body, meaning her head. Yeah, I'm wrapped around her like a blanket, get over it.  Aizawa followed after Mina let go and laid a hand atop her head. "Glad you're okay, kid." He stated, earning a glare from her at the word 'kid'.

Next, Kirishima, Deku, Iida, Todoroki, and Momo showed up at her side. Some tried to hug her, only to be growled at by me. Once they left, Trystan and Hallie jumped onto her and hugged her as if their life depended on it. They 'accidentally' hugged me, but I still refused to let go of (Y/N).

Everyone hugged, or attempted to hug (Y/N) and the doctor walked in, leaving me where I was, he checked her vitals. "If everything goes well, you'll be able to leave tomorrow morning." He stated with a nod before leaving. The door slides open again, this time revealing her brother. He copied Aizawa and patted her head before stepping back.
