"Get up"
I hear a light and feathery voice call out to me. I open my eyes to see Eon Jin's legs standing beside my bed, her thighs looking very intimidating.
"Why"
I say in a slightly annoyed voice.
"Mom cooked breakfast. She wants us to eat now—as a family"
"Fine, I'll be down in 10"
I reply, as I roll over on to my stomach. I grab my pillow, squeezing my arms under the cushion. Trying desperately to get comfortable, but knowing I've lost my warm spot in the bed.
"Are you going to get up or not?"
I lightly jump at the voice coming from behind me. I thought I had heard her footsteps exiting my room, maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me.
"Yes. Just let me rest my eyes for a few seconds"
"If I let you rest your eyes, you're going to end up falling back to sleep again"
"I know, that's the whole reason behind resting your eyes"
"Ugh whatever. Just get up. Moms going to get mad at me if she doesn't see or hear you coming down after me"
"And? That's just another reason for me to stay up here"
I say, swinging my legs over the bed onto the floor. Slipping my feet into my white fuzzy slides.
"Shut up. I'll be in the hall waiting. Hurry"
"K"
I watch her exit my room as I put my hair into a ponytail out of instinct. I finally lift myself off my bed, walking over to my bathroom. I grab my toothbrush and start to clean my teeth. Naturally sucking on the toothbrush every once in awhile, letting the watered-down toothpaste escape my mouth.
"ew"
I say to myself, but shrugging it off. I finish brushing my teeth and rinsing my mouth. I exit my bathroom and head over to my door. I close and lock the door, then walk over to my dresser, pulling out a sports bra.

"It's about time. I said to hurry up, not take you're time"
"I don't think I asked.."
I mockingly smile over to my sister, as she rolls her eyes and starts walking down the stairs. We approach the dining table and seat ourselves. Our plates are already dished out, with our plates containing the least amount of food. Of course, the boys always take the food. I don't think I've ever had a decent amount of food in this house. The only place I can say I get genuinely full is at Yang Good. Any other place I eat, there's always left over space in my stomach. Then my stomach just ends up growling at me the rest of the day.
"Are you going to eat that?"
Taehyung says, staring at my plate.
"uh yes"
"Then eat it"
I glare at him, taking my chopsticks and picking up the small bits of food on my plate.

"Go get ready now"
My mom says, as she picks up our plates and neatly places them in the sink.
"Why?"
Eon Jin replies in an annoyed voice.
"We're having a cookout this evening. We'll be inviting our whole neighborhood, since it's our turn to host."
Dad replies.
"Why does it feel like our neighborhood is some type of cult? Why can't we just be a normal neighborhood and not bother each other. Or at least not bother to know others."
Says Taehyung.
"Because we're cultured..?"
Jeong Gyu replies.
"I don't know why you guys are complaining.. You guys used to always look forward to this, especially you, Tae"
"All he looked forward to were the girls.. especially the ones who just got out of high school. It was disgusting"
I reply. This is true though, although he may deny. I remember he'd always try and bring me along with him whenever he "went in." It was always embarrassing... but I've never mentioned anything to anyone. Because I'm that type of sister—until now.
Taehyung shoots his eyes over to me, his eyes looking very intimidating. I'm starting to wish I hadn't said anything, but it's not my fault... he always blackmailed me in high school, my awaited time has now come.
"I'm a boy, what do you expect?"
He finally replies, I can already sense something bad trying to escape his mouth. I can see his mouth quiver, like he's holding back a thought. I know this look though, I've seen it all my life...
"You can't say anything anyways, you used to have a crush on one Gyu's of friends—and I have evidence"
There it is. What'd I say, blackmailing is one of Tae's specialities.
"Don't be an ass Tae, we all know you liked Loona when you were younger. You were just as crazy in love as Aera—maybe even crazier. I also don't want you blackmailing your siblings anymore"
My mom can be a total badass. She shuts people up when they get out of control with their words. This is her specialty.
I can see Tae roll his eyes and that cocky smile is immediately erased from his face. I love it when someone puts him in his place. Its always a good time when his high ego is put down. No one likes a cocky person—my moms just helping him out...
