"you didn't embarrass me in front of yerim, right?" seulgi asked, worry evident in her voice. "she may be my little sister but sometimes i wonder wether she's really a spawn of satan or just got influenced by sooyoung. or both."

joohyun giggled. "don't worry, i most certainly didn't. although on a side note, you and your sister are really different and really similar at the same time."

"just kang things." seulgi stated to which joohyun giggled again.

"you know," the older started. "we're kinda like that one fairy tale. about the whole switching-lives thing."

"yeah like, 'the prince and the pauper'." seulgi agreed. "or more like, 'the princess and the pauper'."

"so," joohyun started yet again. "who's who?"

"you're definitely the princess." seulgi said in a matter-of-fact tone. "i mean, look at you. you're practically a model. you're like, really pretty."

realising what she had just said seulgi looked down trying to hide her red cheeks, not seeing joohyun's same condition.

"thanks...." joohyun muttered.

there was silence for a while. it wasn't really awkward. well, for joohyun it wasn't but for seulgi, it was a whole other story. but it's always been like this, there not-so-normal encounter led to a not-so-normal friendship. but seulgi didn't mind.

"you know seulgi...."

"hm?"

"you're wrong...." seulgi faced the elder girl once more. "what do you mean?"

joohyun faced seulgi. the younger noticing a different glint in joohyun's eyes, although she couldn't put a finger on it.

"i'm far from being the princess."
