seulgi spent the bus ride home in complete silence. that is until joohyun suddenly appeared beside her.

"what's up? you look like you're in deep thought."

"something bad happened?"

"seulgi?"

"hello?"

"you do know that if i talk to you, i'll look like a total lunatic, right?" seulgi muttered softly. she was the only one who could hear and see the other girl for some reason. they gave up finding out why years ago since they accepted the fact that seulgi is probably the only one who could converse with joohyun.

"oh yeah. forgot about that, sorry." joohyun smiled timidly, which caught seulgi off-gaurd.

"i-i'm sorry too. i was a little rude, wasn't i?"

"no, it's fine. i understand." joohyun smiled reassuringly.

"hey unnie," seulgi muttered. "when did we meet again?"

"what? why all of a sudden?"

"i don't know....my memory's been hazy lately..." seulgi elaborated. "i just wanted to remember it since it's pretty special, you know?"

"hm," joohyun put her index finger on her chin, trying to remember. "it was when you were 17, right?"

"when i was 17?" seulgi repeated, looking unsure.

"i don't really remember my teen days.....and i thought you were old——ack!" seulgi squealed a little too loudly, recieving curious glares from the other passengers.

seulgi awkwardly smiled as she shrunk back to her seat. and joohyun, well, let's just say she's enjoying herself.

"it wasn't that funny."

"you deserved it!"

while joohyun was laughing however, seulgi was stuck in her own mind trying to recall their first encounter. no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't remember it.
