A new day has dawned and team MRACL was currently walking alongside the various other teams on a field trip with Ms. Glynda Goodwitch to collect a sap sample from the scarlet trees of Forever Falls.

As they walked, Mal then quietly muttered to himself "Interesting, so aside from faunus, there ARE other evolutionary disparities between Earth and Remnant. Maybe interstellar travel ISN'T so implausible after all.".

Yang then walked beside her adopted younger brother, being the only to have heard, and then said "Are you trying to finally act like a UFO? Or should I say a UFBro! Hahaha-OW! HEY!" only being interrupted by Mal kicking her in the shin.

Mal then glared at her and then whispered "Do you WANT me to be dragged off and dissected?!".

He then sighed before walking back up to his team and helped in collecting the sap. As he did, he then tasted the sap and then nodded in approval of the taste. Mal then looked around then motioned to Rogue to go to him. His teammate took a bit to understand, before eventually going to him.

Mal then whispered "Rogue, could you help me create something?" to which Rogue whispered back, saying "Can't you do it yourself? Don't we have similar semblances?".

Mal then sighed and then whispered "No, I can't. Besides, my semblance can only clone things I've already seen and even then, it's mostly swords.".

Rogue then looked around and then said "Alright, alright, what is it?". Mal then whispered out "A jar... about... this big. Not using this syrup on pancake is near sacrilege.". Rogue then gave a hum of agreement before saying "Alright! But, if that's the case, I don't want to be interrupted. So, team leader, can you do the collecting for me while I concentrate on making the jar?".

Mal then nodded only for Alice to shoot him a disgusted look before saying "Lazy ass..." to which Rogue indignantly said "Don't look at me like that! Oi! I'm not lazy! I just need to focus or else the jar might come out wring and-Oi! Stop looking at me like I am a scum of the earth.".

Mal then shook his head before saying "Don't worry, I'll do it. It's not wrong to help after all.".

Alice then scoffed before saying "Don't be soft on this lazy ass Mal. No good leader should." to which Rogue shouted "I'm not lazy!" to deaf ears.

Mal then said "Alice, we aren't soldiers. Learn to chill a little." with Alice wincing a bit from the first half of the sentence.

Suddenly, rustling was heard in the bushes as the members of team CRDL started scampering out, saying "That's a big ursa!".

Team RWBY made their move, so Mal then made his. "Cenn, warn Ms Goodwitch! Lex, Alice scout the area, take out any grimm in the surrounding area. Rogue... continue with the syrup!" Mal said totally because he had a plan aside from blindly charging the enemy. Hehehe... yeah... Fortunately, they listened and did as they were told.

Mal then charged towards the ursa area alongside Pyrrha, Weiss and Ruby.

What he arrived at was Jaune barely holding back an ursa while Cardin backed away in sheer terror.

Weiss then tried to charge, only for Pyrrha to stop her. Mal then tried to charge with two swords hovering in mid-air only for said swords to stab down into the floor and himself getting yanked towards Pyrrha. He was then placed down only to see Jaune decapitate the ursa.

He then slumped down while droning off. He already knew what Pyrrha's powers do, no sense in listening to it a second time. He then sighed before taking out his scroll to contact his team only to despair after realizing his phone's low battery. He then sighed... looks like he'll have to fetch them manually...
