Not Edited (too lazy🤷‍♀️)

6 Years Later
The sun rose and the birds chirped waking all the peaceful residents from their slumber. The farmers left to the feilds, the seamstresses left for the tailor, the medics left for the hospital to take over their shift. It was only 7 in the morning and the streets were filled with the people going to work.
Everyone was excited to get their shift of work done so they can return to their families. And most people enjoyed their work. But that wasn't the case with the king. He was complaining that morning because he couldn't make his usual trip to the village market and greet the hurrying people. Today is not Hoseok's lucky day. He has to arrange a ball to choose someone to marry. Of course, all the females are invited. But what about the males? Hoseok was gay. Nothing can tell you otherwise. He is a flamboyant man that openly supports the lgbtq+ community in his small kingdom. But no one got the hints. Everyone says that he is as straight as a pole. But in extreme heat, poles can be bent🤷‍♀️.

So here Hoseok was, seated at his desk talking to the interior designers that will decorate the ball room in the little time of day that they have. They ball wasn't going to have a theme or anything, just simple decorations with the pack colors, black and silver. Black resembling the dark past they have faced in the last decades. Silver resembling a new future to come, brighter days to live and thrive among. Hoseok stood from his chair and walked over to the balcony in his office, the same one that he and his father sat on before the war that ended their kingdom.

Hoseok stood leaning against the railing of the balcony and watched the bustling marketplace. He watched as the women and men went to work or bought food for their families at home. He watched the people share conversations. He watched the mc of his ball step out onto a pkatform in the center of the market.

"Ladies and gentlemen. I am proud to announce the royal ball that shall take place this evening. Every woman is invited because at the end of tonight, a bride for the prince shall be chosen. Wear your finest gown. Wear your finest suit. The first guests are welcomed to come at sundown. Thank You."
The mc spoke to the citizens, the speakers around the town amplifying his voice. Hoseok walked back into his office and sat down on his chair. He took out his notebook and pen and started writing. Yes, Hoseok has a journal, just like i do 🤩.

'Hello,
It's Hoseok again. Today i found out that the castle is hosting a ball. What's even worse is that i need to pick a bride. If only i could tell the kingdom that i prefer guys. Maybe if i run away, I'll find my dream guy. But i cant't just abandon this kingdom, i built it for the people to live in peace, leaving would sentence my brother to this stressful job and he doesn't want to be king. Well, i have to go and get fitted. Bye, journal.

-Hobi'

Hoseok tucked his journal into his coat pocket and left the room, heading toward the royal tailor. He stepped into the room and stripped down to his under garments. The woman he has come to adore grabbed her measuring tape and wrapped it around his waist.

"How are you, son? Written in that diary of yours recently?"
She wrote down the measurement and moved the tape to Hoseok's chest area.

"Mrs. Bang~"
Hoseok whined.
"It's a journal not a diary~"

"Whatever keeps you asleep at night, dear Hoseok. Lift your arms."
She measured his upper arm before moving to his stomach. She wrote the measurement under the waist, chest and arm measurements. She did his hips, thigh and calves before handing Hoseok's clothes.

"Get dressed and head to your sister's office. She needs to give you your check up."

"Okay, Mrs. Bang. Tell your husband i said hi."
Hoseok said while getting dressed. He held his jcket in his arms, careful to keep his journal hidden. Hoseok bowed and then left the room heading down the hallway. He entered the cozy docters office and back hugged hus older half-sister. There mother was raped in her teenage years, giving birth to Dawon at thirteen. The age that women normal start a family is seventeen so she was criticized for that. Four years later, she had Hoseok and Namjoon. Then after another twelve, she got pregnant with Lisoo, the youngest girl in the family.
