As they head back to the parking rack, Uncle Dy and his old truck were still there. The road was peaceful. She could hear the sound of an engine—horrible coughing sound like an awful trumpet. With a loud fart, a puff of gas blasted out from the exhaust pipe. As she walks, she could hear Uncle Dy shouting but couldn't understand a word he shouted. She looked behind, and she could feel someone grabbing her hand and pushed her aside. She fell and BANG! The moment the car hit the bike rack, she assumed she was dead.

She searched for her grandpa. She could spot a body lying on the road and Uncle Dy running and screaming into the body. Slowly she stood and walked near them; she cried as she hugged him. She could see his eyes fading and waking and fading and waking. She was unable to move as blood gushes from his wounds. She screamed.

"Don't leave me, Pa!"

She keeps shouting, but he would not move as his breathing starts to slow down. Suddenly, her vision kept flashing from bitter darkness to blinding white light. She fainted. It was the only thing she could feel anymore.

She woke up and realized she had been admitted to the hospital. Her mother sat next to her; as much as she tried to hold it in, the pain came out in the form of a silent scream.

"Where is Pa?" She asked.

Her mother's lip trembled, and her shoulders heaved with emotion. A lone tear traced down her cheeks, and just like that, the floodgates opened. She rubbed the tears flooding from her eyes.

"He's gone."

The tears burst forth like water from a dam, spilling down her face. That's when she died inside.
