I woke up as I seen Jonathan still sleep I reached over and grabbed my phone seeing text messages and a missed call from Roddy. I picked it up reading
"Are you up?". I just laid it face down then got up to get in the shower quietly.

I didn't know if I should meet up and talk with him or just don't say anything back. He's not trying to get at me and flirt he just needed someone to simply talk too. After about twenty minutes of thinking and washing up I finally got out the shower.

I started brushing my teeth then I went in the room getting dressed. Once I was dressed I started cooking breakfast. I grabbed my phone

Me: Rod I know you mean well
but Jon has an issue with me
talking to you.

Roddy: Yeah ik but I was yo friend before anything

He brought up as I sighed and he started calling me. I let it vibrate like four times before picking it up. I answered "hello?" He said in a deep husky voice. "You just got up?" I asked mixing the batter to the pancakes.

"Nah I'm straight what's up?" He asked "no what's up with you?" I asked. "Damn you and him back together and you can't talk to a nigga now?" He asked jokingly in a chuckle. "Don't be like that, what's up?" I questioned.

"I'm stressing the fuck out, I got my first child on the way" he said as I snickered "should've pulled out" I simply said pouring the batter into the pan. "This ain't funny right now" he said as I sighed. "Well don't stress because you'll make her upset" I started off.

"What you making?" He questioned as I giggled "how did you know I was making something?" I asked "I can hear it" he stated "strong ass ears, I'm making pancakes bacon and sausage" I informed. "Damn baby girl you cook too?" He asked as I giggled.

"Yeah" I said "stop going off topic because I know what you trying to do" I said making him chuckle. "That nigga treating you good?" Roddy questioned as I playfully rolled my eyes. "We're straight rod" I stated. "Instead of worrying about that worry about you not pulling out." I said.

"I could've sworn you told me not to pull out" he brought up "I swear I will hang up" I threatened making him laugh. "I never even said that to you" I said. "So you never told a nigga to pull out?" He asked "can we not have this conversation?" I asked as he laughed.

"Hell if I was going to get anybody pregnant it should've been yo ass" he started off "wait, wait a damn minute" I started off. "Why the fuck would it be me?" I questioned. "Why wouldn't it be you?" He asked. "You ain't in it for the money and I genuinely liked you it wasn't just some ass" he said.

"Is that why you really called?" I asked "Nah I'm still trippin off my girl being pregnant" he said. "You have a whole girl friend why the fuck do you want me?" I asked "ion know it's something about you" he said as I just straight faced the fuck out of that comment.

"That basic ass comment y'all tell every girl" I simply said. "But it doesn't matter you got a whole girl friend and baby on the way and I got Jon and my girls I can't fuck with you heavy if you got feelings" I admitted.

"Damn we cant even be cool?" He questioned "rod You told me you didn't even have feelings we were just cool" I said "I had to tell you that cause you were dealing with Jonathan" he said as I sighed. "I ain't even know if I had a chance with you that's why I said what I said" he said as I started feeling bad.
