4) The Goddess' Dark Secret

The alarm went off. Screaming out loud waiting for everyone to save the ship's life. Matt and Pidge ran to the screen checking the cameras.

"What is going on!" Asked Ashley alarmed.

"Karma. He finally showed up." Said Pidge angrily.

"And he's not alone. He has his battle ships in every direction." Said Matt worriedly.

"Ok everyone to you're lions. Lucas defend the ship as much as possible we will help as well but i don't think we will stay for long,"She said encouragingly "I knew he was up to something." Ashley thought. They rushed to their lions and fought. Purple and blue lasers zoomed through space trying t hit their targets. Most of them succeeded but the others carried on going ready to blast into something.

"Ashley. The only way we can stop the smaller ships from coming out is if we destroy its source. Karma's ship, but if we do that we should form Zite." Matt said thinking positively. 

"Ok everyone. Let's form Zite!" Ashley shouted. They flew in formation up and up. Their lion turned into something completely different, but sooner or later they came together to form a huge robot, Zite. 

Zite punched the gigantic ship sending it far back. 

"GET THE CANNONS READY AND FIRE YOU IDIOTS! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!" Karma shouted at his fighters. They rushed and brought the cannons to life. There where billions of cannons on the sides and a huge, black cannon to top it off.

"Pidge get the shield ready." Ashley couldn't stop but to be angry. Anger ran through her voice, her thoughts, her veins, her body. She couldn't control her self. What does that bastard want? Why won't he go away? Angry thoughts ran through her head. She glared at the long, purple ship. Lasers where fired and then bounced back because of their shield. 

"Leo hit the lasers." He pressed a button and aimed right for the ship. he blasted. Good that the ship doesn't have a barrier. 

"Ok we have to aim for the bigger cannon. Once we have broken that the ship will be weak." Ashley thought.

"But Ashley our lasers won't be able to do any serious damage. We need something sharp, like a sword." Pidge suggested.

"Talking of a sword, HELLO PEOPLE WE DON'T HAVE ONE! WHERE THE HECK ARE WE GOING TO GET A SWORD FROM!" Matt shouted aloud. Meanwhile Karma was shouting orders. Everywhere you looked fighters where bustling around.

"I WANT THEM GONE, KILLED! I WANT THEIR BLOOD IN A BOTTLE AND I WANT TO DRINK IT!" Especially the leader. The team fought furiously. 

"RETREAT! I WANT ANOTHER PLAN! ONCE THEY ARE OFF GUARD!" Karma shouted. The ships turned back and flew away.

"Why are the retreating?" Asked Leo.

"It doesn't matter let's get back to the ship." The broke up and went back.

"Why did they retreat?" Asked Lucas.

"We don't know, but for sure i know they will come back. We should get some rest, probably get ready for tomorrow." Said Ashley darkly. Then right in front of the door way, there was a purple light mixed with a bit of pink, blue, red, orange and yellow. The Goddess appeared in font of them.

"It's good to see you my fellow friends." She said, a bit sadly.

"You're highness why are you here?" Lucas asked. He had a feeling it was something serious.

"I'm here to give you news." She said plainly.

"What type of news?" Matt asked.

"Bad news." She said hanging her head down.

"I'm sure it can't be that bad." Said Tara trying to be positive.

"I'm afraid it is very bad, my dear." She said.

"I'm listening..." Ashley said starting to pick up interest.

"I-i-i..." She stuttered.

"You're highness no one will judge you on what you say. We are all friends here." Leo said trying to comfort her.

"Well...i am the evil witches sister." She admitted. Everyone gasped.

"How can you be the witches sister you're completely the opposite of her!?" Ashley asked alarmed.

"I know i know, but it is true. I didn't want to make you scared so i didn't tell you, but i'm afraid i had to. It would be better if you knew." She said sadly.

Tara smiled, "You're highness. It's ok we don't mind at all. We all have secrets, but at least you shared it with us."

"Yeah she's right." Said Pidge happily.

"Also this can come to advantages to take down Karma." Ashley said still thinking about the battle.

"Yes it can but then there are some bad advantages too." Said Leo reasonably.

"Like..." Asked Pidge.

"Like Karma might be after her to get more power." Leo said thoughtfully. 

"Leo does have a point. We need to do something, like insert a teleportation device into the ship so we can teleport anywhere at anytime." Said Matt.

"Yes my dear, but how are we going to do that?" The Goddess asked.

"Pidge and Matt can do it. I'm sure they can." Said Tara looking at them with a smile.

"Thank you my dears. I don't know what i would do with out you." She said smiling with brightness. Ashley looked at Lucas. He hasn't talked much. There might be something wrong. I'll ask him later. 

"Wait. Why don't you stay here with us? Then the probability of you getting caught, will be less." Said Pidge.

"Ok."The goddess said agreeing.

"I'll show you you're room." Said Tara. Then the Goddess and Tara left the room. Ashley went up to Lucas cautiously. 

"Lucas is something wrong?" She asked.

"No no nothing is wrong why do you ask?" 

"Cause you haven't talked while the Goddess was here and you're head was hanging. Come on Lucas i'm you're sister you can tell me anything." 

"It's just. I miss mum and dad. Haven't you looked at the Goddess closely. She looks just like mum." He said with a tear trickling down his cheek.

"Hey hey hey! No need to cry. I'm sure that one day we will return home and we will find mum and dad." She wiped away the tear on his cheek, and smiled. He hugged her close.

"At least i haven't lost you." He said sadly.

"Who said you lost mum and dad. They're still down on earth we just have to find them once we have defeated Karma."

"And how long will that take. He is too..." Ashley put a finger to his lips.

"Don't say that. I'm sure one day we will defeat Karma." He let her go.

"Thanks Ashley." He said relieved.

"No problem." The Goddess entered the room.

"Thank you my dears. You have done a lot for me. How can i ever repay you." She asked.

"You living with us and using you're power against Karma is enough of what we can ask for." Ashley said happily.

"Ashley you are a kind, smart. extraordinary  girl and very persistent. You always stick to one idea. Thank you for sticking to the idea of keeping me here." She said.

"Thank you." Matt and Pidge came running into the room with happy smiles.

"Let me guess. You manged to make the teleportation device now." Asked Leo.

"Not just that but we manged to upgrade the shield a bit meaning now we have two shields if one goes down." Said Matt proudly.

"Good job, you guys." Said Ashley happily.
