8) The Meteorite

Lucas got the ship closer to Karma's. They were up to something.

"Go slowly and undetected." Ashley said carefully. He went slowly went closer and left the ship behind a huge boulder.  

"Lucas can you zoom into that." Ashley said pointing towards the thing Karma's ships were collecting. He zoomed in and Vartia gasped.

"What is it?" Ashley asked.

"That is a meteorite. Not only a normal one but a powerful one. Karma can not get his hands on it." She said in a stressful voice.

"Ok but why exactly?" Asked Ashley.

"He can build anything out of it and what he builds can be more powerful than Zite and we might not be able to stop him." Said Lucas.

"I see." Ashley replied looking at the meteorite hard, "Let's go to the lions and form Zite on our way. We need to destroy Karma's ship or at least steal the meteorite from him." They went to their lions and formed Zite.

"Pidge get the shield up, we don't know what impact we are going to face." Ashley said hardly. Pidge pressed a button and the two wing like figures on there back came together to make a shield. They came closer and closer.

"My Lord, Zite is there way here should we get the barrier up?" A soldier asked.

"No. Let them see the beauty of this planet, or should i say, us." He said calmly with a huge smile. 

"Wait." Ashley said. Zite paused. 

"What is it?" Leo asked.

"Karma should've attacked a few seconds ago." Ashley said thoughtfully.

"So?" Tara said confused.

"Meaning he must have a plan and he is waiting for us. We need to try a different approach. Maybe..." Ashley paused she had no ideas.

"Wait a sec..." Said Pidge.

"What is it, any ideas would come in handy right now."  Ashley said.

"Since my lion can turn invisible, maybe i can make Zite turn invisible." She said hopefully.

"That would work can you do it now?" Asked Ashley.

"Sure." Pidge pressed another button and the whole of Zite turned invisible. They went close to the ship undetected. 

"My Lord, Zite has gone off of our radar and they are no where to be seen. What should we do?" Asked the bot.

"WHAT! That is impossible! Send out our fighters! Find those idiots!" Karma shouted. Millions of smaller ship flowed out of Karma's ship and they went every where.

"Pidge what happens if one of them touch us?" Asked Leo. 

"Invisibility will fail and we will be seen." Said Pidge. 

"Ok. I think the only hope we have is to go above of under. Or even better split up and start crashing and destroying, you're option you can choose one or two." She said.

"TWO!" Everyone shouted. 

"Ok. Let's go." Invisibility failed to keep them all so they were now seen by all the ships. They all split up and started to take down all the ships one by one. They did stunts dodging and even started to fire.

"Don't forget our main goal. To take down the mother and get the meteorite." Ashley said with a few ships behind her. She headed straight for the ship and quickly did a back flip with her lion. The other ships were to slow and crashed into Karma's ship.

+"IDIOTS! SEND OUT MORE I WANT THE LIONS AND THEIR STUPID WEAK PALADINS!" Karma shouted loudly that the ship rumbled. The lions carried on doing the best thing they could ever do, crashing and breaking. Minutes later all the ships were broken even their flyers. 

"RETREAT! YOU PIECES OF JUNK CAN'T EVEN CATCH A PACK OF WILD ANIMALS!" The ship went away without the meteorite. The lions formed Zite and took the meteorite with them back to the ship. 

"Vartia. We have the meteorite. What do we do now?" Asked Tara.

"Well the best thing you can do is take me out there so i can teleport the meteorite somewhere safe." Vartia said. She came out of the ship and teleported the meteorite to a safer place. They went back inside ready for dinner. 

"Oh Ashley, you're tail and ears are so messy. Please let me brush them." Tara asked with huge eyes. Vartia came over. 

"My dear Tara you might want to be a bit careful when you're brushing them she might be a bit aggressive since she is a wolf." Vartia whispered to Tara.

"I will." She said happily, "Ashley sit down here." She said pointing down to a little chair. Ashley sat down and Tara took out her brush. She started to brush Ashley's ears leaving the tail till last. It kinda hurt Ashley but Tara seemed so happy so she let her continue.

"Aw. Ashley you're ears look so soft can  touch them please." Leo begged.

"Su..." 

"No. Only i can touch her ears." Tara interrupted Ashley. 

"No fair i want to touch them to."

"Well tough look only i can."

"Well i'm touching them anyway."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"Stop please. You both can touch them." Ashley said holding her ears down. 

"Yay!" Leo ran towards Ashley and started to rub them and brush them again with his hands. Ashley couldn't hold it anymore. She roared like a wolf and bared her fangs at Tara and Leo and ran off to Lucas.

"What is wrong my little wolf?" Asked Lucas as he was talking to Vartia.

"Let me guess." She said, "They were both fighting and then you couldn't hold it anymore." 

"Yeah..." She said sadly. She heard foot steps behind her and saw Leo and Tara walking towards her.

"We're really really sorry that we upset you Ashley." They both said at he same time.

"It's ok i understand you both wanted to brush my ears and tail." She said smiling. 

"Well can we do it again, but not fight this time." Asked Tara.

"Yes Ashley please." Said Leo.

"Ok ok." Ashley sat down again and hey started brushing. A few minutes later they were done and Ashley's tail and ears were as smooth as a baby's hands. 

"Aw. Look at you you're so cute." Said Leo. Ashley blushed.

"Ha ha. Thanks for the brushing you guys but i think we should go to bed now." 

"Yeah you're right." Said Tara proud of her work. They went to bed feeling better than normal.
