Jaebeom was zoning out as usual (Like, I mean, as if he didn't have enough things to worry and think about). He was thinking about cats since his friends had brought up the topic of favourites. Ahhhhh, cats! How soft, sweet and fluffy. Well, they might scratch me but whatever. I still love them. Speaking of which, I hope Odd doesn't turn the whole house upside down. Nora also used to do that but.... she's becoming a grown up adult now, isn't she. I should take lessons from her on how to adult. Anyways, cats - 

A loud, high pitched scream exclaiming (that came from.... Jackson, who else?) "JAEBEOM-AH!!" broke him out of his Zoned Out World. He looked carefully at all of them and gave a pretend smack in Jackson's direction, and after a moment of *ahem ahem* calmness, all hell broke loose. Youngjae's contagious laugh set off everyone else, Jackson and Youngjae's laugh being loudest. Jaebeom invariably started laughing. All of them laughed for a good 2 minutes and then stopped. Until Yugyeom tried to drink water to calm himself down, making most of the water slide down onto his turtleneck due to his giggles. This set them off again, but this time, Jaebeom joined in for only some time. After some time, he started zoning out again. Ahhhh that was so funny. I agree we are a mess, but still, a good looking one at that. I mean, I wouldn't have had anyone or anything else. Ohmigod, I wonder how Jackson is so funny despite being so serious and mature. Along with Nora's adulting lesson and Jackson's lessons, I'll become a proper hum-

"Look up"

Wait, what? Who-

"Its me Jaebeom, Jaebeom. Look up please. Precisely  to the place diagonally right to you-"

But why? I won't. You are no one to tell me that. Even in his thoughts, Jaebeom was the determined person he was in real life. But still.... a ray of doubt shone from the thick covering of determined-ness.

Jaebeom could clearly feel whoever that was shake his head and disapprove of whatever he was saying (very much like our mothers at anything and everthing we say, no? I'll go back to bed, yeah...)

Why?? Is it my soulmate? I mean, like really? But soulmates are a made up thing, no? I mean even though Jaehyung and I searched it up, neither of us believe it. But still..... Once more, why?, naming the tall and skinny guy that was his close friend.

"Will you look up or not? I need to go sleep. This is the maximum contact I've ever had now pleas-"

I will but.. who are you? 

"I told you, I'm Jaebeom. The most I can tell is that I'm a part of your thoughts and thought system. Now please look up otherwise time is going to run out...."

"Time is going to run out?? What do you mean -?"

"Look up. I'll tell you later!! Please!"

"Fine"

Jaebeom gave a quick glance at the laughing puddle that was his friends and looked up at the place that.. person or whoever was indicating. Diagonal right to me.

He looked and saw a man. He was most probably the most good looking man he ever saw. Hell, that was an understatement - he was most probably the most good looking man in the history of most good looking men. Damn. (correct Beom). Actually, he was handsome. Like, he wasn't like hot or whatever (yes he was but not at first glance). Some people were hot or cute or sexy or whatever but handsome people are extremely rare. There, I said it. (sorry not sorry✌😌)

The handsome man was already looking at the Goof Club (way before Jaebeom was thinking of his cats and shiz like that), with a longing gaze, Jaebeom noticed. When he saw Jaebeom look at him, he gave a start and his pretty eyes widened. "Oh shiz, they noticed" was what they looked like they were saying. He turned back to his book but still, Jaebeom continued to look at him with a curious stare, cocking his head like a child who found something new.

The handsome man was becoming red and, trying to cover his (bodywide) blush, took the book up to cover his face, making a show of how much he read. Jaebeom kept staring and, with an amused face, noticed that the book was upside down. He kept on staring

The handsome man, named Jinyoung, himself felt something was coming up. Jinyoung was internally deciding whether to look up at Jaebeom, aka Goof Club leader (what makes you think Nyoungie won't know that Beom was looking? He knows anything and everything). Jinyoung felt something inside him tell  to Look Up.

Once he looked up to meet Jaebeom's gaze, all he got as a response was a thumbs up and a smile that left the Sun jobless. 

Jaebeom had turned his gaze back to his friends who had calmed down a little bit. One last look, something inside him begged. Ahhhh fine I will.

He looked up to see Jinyoung's confused face. He gave a little smile and pointed at the book Jinyoung was reading, signifying he was doing a good job reading the book, which was one of Jaebeom's favourites.

Jinyoung understood and gave a shy smile and a small nod.

Jaebeom, quite awed of Jinyoung, his eyebrows raised, gave another smile and turned back to his friends.
