**Luke**

I burst through the hospital doors, hardly pausing at the desk. Once the nurse gave me the number of Molly's room, I was sprinting towards it full-speed. I yanked on the door handle, but it was locked tight. As soon as I was going to bang on it, I heard my name.

"Luke?" A familiar voice called. I spun around, seeing a battered Maggie at the end of the hall. She sped towards me, and I enveloped her in a hug, then held her at arms' length away from me, looking at her. "Oh, God, Luke. It was awful. Where's Molly?"

"I would ask the same thing. Haven't you seen her?"

"Not since the accident. I'm so sorry. I should've slowed down, I should've watched the road more carefully." I could sense Maggie's remorse. I hugged her again.

"It's not your fault, Mags," I said, meaning it. "Black ice is killer." She nodded into my shoulder, and I released her. "Where are you headed?"

"Waiting room, I guess. They're letting me go, since I'm barely bruised. You go find Molly, then call me. I want to come see her." I pressed a five into her hand, demanding that she got some food, then ravaged the halls until I found a doctor.
