**Luke**
Finally, someone told me that Molly had been moved to a larger room with more equipment in it. I didn't care why; I just wanted to see her. I nearly fell through the door in my haste, but as I got my balance, I heard her laughter.
"Luke, you're an idiot," Molly giggled. I imagined that my face lit up like a jillion-watt lightbulb when I saw my Molly. My feet unthinkingly lurched forward, carrying me to her. I braced my arms on either side of her head, leaning down and crushing my lips to hers. She broke away first, playfully pushing me away and pressing a button on the side of the bed until she was sitting up. I moved her over, seating myself beside her as best I could and wrapping an arm around her waist.
"My God, Molly," I said, "You nearly gave me a heart attack." She smiled broadly, and I kissed her cheek. "But, I hear I'm not the one with the heart problems."
Now, she frowned. "Yeah. They said my beat's irregular or something. I explained it to them already."
"So you know what's making it weird?" I asked, staring at her expectantly.
"Yup." She told me, grinning, then leaning over to whisper in my ear. "I told them it's because you're on my mind." I rolled my eyes, pushing a strand of hair out of her face.
"Which romance book is that from?" I teased, then kissed the tip of her nose as we settled into silence.
