A/N :Helloo! Thank you so much for the support you've all been giving me! I'm so so happy! And, I'm glad to be here on Wattpad with such wonderful people! Um, so, I guess, I hope you have a good year? It's almost 2015 so yup :)

“Who-“ I started before getting disrupted by Simon “How many?” He said in a humorless stern tone, which took me aback, I didn’t guess to ever see this side of Simon, but I guess this circumstance may have needed a dependable leader.

“I-I’m not sure! Maybe about three..” The red glasses girl said momentary looking at everyone “We can take them down!” She said sanguinely “That’s just reckless, Ella” Cody said rubbing his forehead.

“Alright” Simon declared before sending a key flying towards the intimidating girl I previously met, Ever “Go to Eleven’s place and hide” He said in a urgency “What about you?” I said unintentionally, it seemed the words cleanly slipped out of my mouth when the idea of him not coming struck me “I’ll stay here with Cody and see what these officers want” Simon said point at Cody and grinning.

The girl called Ella heaved a sigh then merely nodded “Ok, let’s go you two to my car” She said ushering us to the car. I sojourned in my tracks and peeked back at Simon coyly, I don’t know him yet, but, out of all the people here, he was the least one I detested. Sensing my uncertainty, he gave me thumbs up before I shut the door.

Down a couple of tainted streets, the street lights got fainter and dimmer, until, everything around us turned into shadowy indistinct objects. We -after so long- arrived at an residence called “Luxueux” (Luxurious), how ironical. It appeared the girls thought so too as they were trying to detain their sniggers.

We climbed up the fathomless stairs but I was promptly pushed down the stairs by the weight of someone’s shoulders. I rubbed my head and made an effort to get an improved view of my setting “There’s a rat!” Ever shrieked as she receded down the stairs. “Well, I don’t know what you expected, princess” Ella said making her way past us and I soon pursued, leaving Ever gaping at us. I must say, it felt gratifying.

The door rasped as Ella opened it. She then turned on the lights and marked her territory on the sofa, placing her legs on the coffee table. This perhaps wasn’t the first time she was here. “So, mind telling me who you are?” She said ogling me “I’m Astrid…” I was about to prolong but, I did not know what to accurately tell her about myself. Mercifully, she didn’t push it and simply nodded “Nice to meet you, Astrid, I’m Ella, Wanderlust’s ONLY sharp member” She said before I let out a fortuitous laugh, at that, she exhaled noisily.

Thankfully, Ever entered and broke the discomfited aura around us “You left me with a rat!” She said feeling defrauded “Hey, not our fault the rat likes you” Ella said flicking swiftly through the magazines “Likes me?!” She said looking fractious “It bit me!” She said taking a seat next to Ella “Astrid, please shut her up” Ella said rolling her eyes but Ever just grunted and stuck out her tongue at me. She undeniably still abhorred me.

After gawkily leaving the living room of this minuscule broken down apartment, I ended up in a skull wallpapered bedroom with a plain wooden desk and bedside table; it didn’t actually seem empty, ostensibly, because of the small amount of space available.

I glimpsed around the room, taking in the dark colors splattered around the room. But, out of everything in the room, the bedside table somewhat concerned me. Calling me, I walked towards the table and picked up the framed picture beside the lamp and studied it. The picture viewed a family of four standing in a restaurant blissfully. But that wasn’t what interested me at all. The faces were all scratched so much with a black pen that the faces were not comprehensible.

“What are you doing here?” A person asked calmly, I quickly turned and faced the masked person. I stared blankly at the person, astonished by his appearance. But, the person simply stood there and waited tolerantly for my answer “I was looking around” I said tensely. The masked man walked out the room; it seemed he didn’t care anyway.

I followed the guy out of the bedroom and into the living room, where he was greeted by the two girls “Why are you guys here?” He said curiously “Our base is in danger…Three policemen followed me while I was on my way there” Ella said looking down at her feet, feeling blameworthy “Ella, don’t worry, Cody and Simon will handle it” Ever said stroking Ella’s back sympathetically “I don’t think that’ll make any of us feel better” The masked guy said and everyone in the room inevitably came to the conclusion that what he said was indeed quite proper.

The conversation following was a blur to me as I was standing next to the window, staring out.  I reviewed what has happened and arranged today’s outlandish events…Simon took me here, I was stuck here…I wouldn’t ever get back, most probably, I ended up in masked boy’s apartment…I don’t for how long, but the sooner, the better.

“Astrid, stop worrying and come sit down” Ella said in good spirits, patting the empty seat next to her “I’m okay here” I said glancing at Ever and the masked boy-Eleven. Honestly, I don’t feel at ease around any of the Wanderlust members “Take it easy-“ Ella began before the door bell rang making the ambiance on edge and vigilantly, Eleven headed towards the door and opened it leisurely.

I’ll try my best not to be late with the next chapter! Sorry, and thank you so much for reading!
