Epilogue.
6 Years Later.
My right hand covered my eyes whilst my left rested on the side of my stomach, the small bump hard under my fingertips. I lightly circled my bump with my fingers and twisted the gold band around my ring finger on my left hand with my thumb.
A lot had happened in the past few years. Logan and I had gotten married four years ago after being engaged for six months. My mum and Gemma had gone crazy with the plans and my wedding dress although Logan and I had been in control of who was invited. Everyone from our pack had come and even some Alphas and a few of their pack had also been invited.
The ceremony was beautiful on a hot summer's day allowing us to have the after party outside in the garden. My wedding day was the third best day of my life. The second being the day that I had meet Logan, at the time it had been one of the worst but everything changed when I began to accept Logan. Logan coming into my life was the best thing to have happened in my life until three years ago.
"Fifty eight, fifty nine," I paused taking in a deep breath before shouting loudly, "sixty! Ready or not here I come."
I pushed myself off of the tree that I had been resting on and began to make my way further into the forest. The sun high in the sky flittering through the trees and the warm summer's air surrounding me. I was carefully not to trip making my way through the trees, watching where I put my feet. Logan would go crazy if I accidently tripped hurting myself or our unborn baby.
I could hear a high pitch giggle coming from my left causing me to take a sharp turn and quickly follow after the sound. At the simple giggle a smile hasdappeared on my face automatically. I was still smiling when I entered a clearing, standing at the edge of the trees. The grass was long brushing the bare skin just above my knees, tickling the back of my legs with every small step I took forward.
The outline of a figure that was only half hidden by the long grass. I supressed a giggle at the sight of Logan's poor attempt of hiding but I refrained stopped myself not wanting to ruin our game of hide-and-seek. I didn't want to ruin the fun of the small form that I could faintly see tucked into Logan's side, the source of the giggle and the reason for the smile on my face.
"Hmm," I pondered out loud, "I wonder where they could be."
I was rewarded with a high pitched squeal which was quietly hushed. I wanted to laugh out loud but instead an unattractive snort came from me. I turned around in a circle; purposefully ignoring the two figures barely hidden by the long grass and instead expected the trees which I had just emerged from, my back to them.
"I could have thought," I muttered loud enough for them both to hear, "never mind."
I deliberately took small, slow steps back the way I came. Five, four, three, t- I mentally counted down from five waiting for one of them to stop me.
"Mummy!" A voice squealed from behind me.
I turned in time to catch the small body that had thrown itself at me. I wrapped my arms tightly around there frame, holding them close to me as giggles filled the air around us. I was careful of my stomach taking most of the impact on my arms and lowering myself to the ground with the force.
"You couldn't find me." They laughed, small baby teeth visible as they grinned at me.
"I found you now baby." I grinned, leaning down to blow a raspberry on their small cheek, enjoying the giggles erupting from them.
The birth of the small boy in my arms was the best day of my life. I had fallen pregnant not to long after Logan and I married. At first I has hidden my small bump, a little afraid of how Logan would react as we hadn't really spoken much about children but when we went to bed one night Logan had finally noticed my small, rounded stomach. I had only ever seen Logan that happy once before which was when I had said I do. That night Logan paraded around the pack house with me in his arms shouting how he was going to be a father.
Gabriel, our adorable little two year old and future Alpha of our pack. Gabe was an exact replica of his father, everything about them was almost identical the only difference being that Gabe did have a little bit of me within him. I wasn't so sure but Logan was convinced saying that our son had my little nose and ears. Gabe had his father's personality, he was cheeky and mischievous but also kind and loving, and he had his father's big heart. Gabe would make a great Alpha but for now he was just our little boy.
"Mummy again!" Gabe cried, tangling his small hands around my hair tightly, "But this time, Daddy has to count."
"Slow down little man," Logan spoke from behind us as I turned to see him lowering himself down on to the ground directly behind me, his legs on either side of me and my back against his chest while I still held Gabe to me. "Mummy's looking after your little sister."
Logan was convinced that our second child was going to be a girl but I, as well as my wolf was almost certain that we would be having another boy. Logan would love our child no matter the gender but he had told me many times that he wanted a little me running around that he would spoil rotten and Gabe would be the overprotective big brother.
"Sorry mummy," Gabe was quick to apologise as he moved off of me so that his little hands were now resting on my stomach.
"There's nothing to be sorry for Gabe." I smiled down as I ran my fingers through his hair, a grin making its way on to his face showing off his dimples.
Logan's breath tickled the back of my neck making me slowly relax into him. His much larger hand reached around me and covered one of Gabe's hand's whilst pressing against my stomach.
"Hello baby," Gabe whispered pressing his lips against my stomach. My hand automatically found its way into his hair where I combed my fingers through the fine strands affectionately.
"I love you." He pressed his small lips to my stomach and I almost melted.
"He loves you too." I smiled down at our little boy.
"I want a baby sister." Gabe grinned up at us.
"Like father like son." Logan whispered in my ear whilst nuzzling my neck.
"She loves you to," I corrected myself.
Gabe launched himself at me once again so that he could wrap one small arm around my neck and the other around Logan, pulling all our heads together. He grinned at the both of us, a grin identical to his fathers.
"I love you mummy," he spoke placing a sloppy kiss on my chin before placing a sloppy kiss on Logan's mouth, "I love you daddy."
"We love you." Logan spoke, blowing a raspberry on Gabe's cheek just like I had minutes ago.
Logan squeezed his hand over Gabe's that still rested on my stomach, his other reaching around and threading his fingers through my own that was rest lightly of Gabe;' back. Gabe was giggling loudly bringing a smile to my face.
This was now my family and life and I couldn't be happier.
