Jimin's pov 

Everything was chaotic. 

Everything.

Namjoon hyung found his mate but he's still scared to make a move. Jungkook is not my mate which means I'll have to find mine soon. Tae and Kook are mates but because of me they aren't getting together, Kook thinks Tae is lying. Tae is heartbroken because he likes me but his mate is my boyfriend, now this shadow pack bitches. 

Everything is so fucking chaotic.

I walked towards Namjoon's office which was inside the mansion from the pack head quarters collecting an important file as Yoongi hyung, the right hand beta, was a little busy with issues in the city. I walked past the pack house full of other Alphas, Betas and Omegas who were living in the forest unlike others who wanted to hide their werewolf identities and live a normal life. As usual, I walked past the pack house disappointed since I couldn't find the alluring scent of my mate anywhere. 

Fate will bring us together. I believe.

I walked to Namjoon hyung's office heaving a heavy sigh and knocked on door waiting for a response, as I didn't get any I slowly twisted the door knob and peeked inside to see Joon and Yoongi hyung talking.

"Oh, Hyung... When did you come back?" I asked to Yoongi scratching my head.

"A few minutes back" he smiled.

"Jimin, If you don't mind can you wait outside for few minutes?" Namjoon asked politely. So, I nodded and closed the door. After closing the door I leaned on the nearby wall and started thinking, let my mind wander here and there.

"Jiminie?" the voice startled me, pulling me out of my trance.

"Oh Taehyung, Hii" I smiled at the fragile omega who was standing in front of me.

"Um.. Is Joon hyung inside?" Taehyung asked, his head hung low, not looking me in the eyes.

Poor omega going through shit because of me.

"He's talking with Yoongi hyung. Something serious,I guess. He asked me to wait outside. Something wrong Tae?" I asked the boy concerned. Lately he's been so quiet, not talking, not smiling like his usual self, often locking up inside his room, doesn't come to eat with us--I wonder if he's even eating.

"Um? No, nothing Jiminie" he smiled reassuringly but of course I am not some fool to believe it. I very well know how good he is in hiding his pain. I've seen him go through sufferings but still smile, seen him heartbroken yet help others heal. I still wonder how an omega like him is that strong and stable mentally. Not that I'm degrading the Omegas but if it were someone else they wouldn't have made it till here.

"Now you're going to lie to me, huh? Fine, suit yourself" I said provoking his guilt and guess what? It worked.

"I just wanted to discuss something to him--About my studies" he said rubbing the nape of his neck.

"Studies? What about it? Are you dropping out of school!?" I literally yelled in the corridors. But he just laughed it.

"No. I'm.. um... planning to go study abroad after breaking my bond with Kook" he smiled but the pain in his eyes were visible.

"Break the b-bond?" I asked him, eyes widening as realization hit me. I felt a lump forming on my throat.

Because of me!

"Yes" he said never once looking at me.

"Did he ask you to break the bond with him Tae? Does Namjoon hyung know about this?"

"He never asked for it but--but, I know he--um--wants this. He's my best friend, I know him better. And Namjoon doesn't know, I'm here to tell him" he smiled, finally looking at me.

"Do you want to break this bond Tae? Are you okay with this?"

"I don't know, Jiminie. But if that'll make everyone else happy, I'm happy too" he smiled again, his eyes showing sincerity.

No! Why is he the one always sacrificing? At first he let go of his love for friendship, now letting his mate go for our happiness.

"Jimin hyung" I heard someone call me when I was about respond to Tae. Jungkook was coming from the other end of the corridor, behind Tae.

"Oh Kookie" I waved at him not smiling. How could I? I saw Taehyung looking at his foot again, head hung low and his expression sad. His wolf might be hurting to see Kook. As if he sensed the hurt Kook walked over to me and hugged me, nuzzling his nose in my neck. Tae frowned, his eyes glossing a bit.

"Here for some sympathy, huh?" he looked, maybe glared at the blue haired omega. When he was about to retort, Joon's office door opened revealing both Namjoon and Yoongi.

"Hey Jimin, Kook and Tae" Namjoon greeted us while ruffling his brother's hair playfully who was huffing cutely towards his elder brother.

"Here" I handed the same shit of file to the lead alpha. We've rejected this same offer from the pack shadow at least 5 times and here it is for the 6th time. Shameless.

"Same offer, huh?" he asked me eyeing the file to which I nodded with a firm yes. "Send them a mail or letter stating that we'll consider their offer but we need time" he said when Yoongi hyung excused himself.

"What? Joon hyung what are you talking about considering? What about your mate!?" I asked to what he said.

"Jimin, I didn't say I'll marry their heir right then and there. I said I'll consider. They're sending this again and again because we're rejecting it, they'll stop if we ask for time. In the meanwhile I'll think what to do with my mate" he smiled his dimpled smile. He waved us a bye and went back inside closing the door behind him.

"I wonder how would Namjoon hyung, the lead Alpha, will feel about his own brother slutting around Alphas and Betas" Kook chuckled humorlessly.

He should really stop.

"S-Slu.." the blue haired male couldn't even complete what he was saying as he let a loud sob and ran away crying. 

"What the fuck Kook? Is this how you talk?" I turned to meet with Kook giving a 'what did I do?' look.

"Don't take his side, hyung!! He is lying!" Kook exclaimed.

"Lying or not, you don't talk like that"

"But hy--"

"I think we should break up Jungkook" I said. It hurt me to say those words but I did. What I did was the right thing to do, the best one.

"You believe him? Not me? So you want to make him succeed in his plans? Then what do I become hyung? What am I to you?" he cried desperately shaking my shoulders.

"It's not because of him, Kookie. It's because of you, because of me. It's for the sake of us."

"Sake of us? Care to explain, Alpha Jimin?" he snorted.

"Taehyung might not be your mate but I'm neither, Kook. I have a mate who is waiting for me and so do you! We can't be together forever. We knew that, Jungkook" I said retracting from his grip on my shoulders.

"Sorry, Jungkook. We were not meant to be" I smiled and turned around. I can't let myself, an Alpha, cry in front of the others.

I might fall for anyone, but I know, I won't love them like I loved you and still do.
