She fell out of the boat into the water headfirst. I saw her squirming then I saw bubbles come up I heard screaming "I can't swim!" I did a dive and tried to get her up but it was to late she died I rowed back to shore crying her mom came it and saw her. "Noooooooo!" I screamed waking up. I had had that nightmare again. It had played in my head every night as long as I could remember. That girl that died was my best friend jacey offenbecher. We spent every second together that was 10 years ago although it was still in my mind just as vividly. I'm auora seekins I'm 22. 12 was to young to see someone die. it scares me still. I was traumatized I was put through therapy for 4 years I saw myself as a killer even though it was no where near being my fault. After that everyone at school saw me as a dangerous person although I could get whatever I wanted everything was a haze my parents moved us to new York they though the familiar sights did it to me. No. It was her face terrified before it went under the water. So I faked it. I pretended it was the scenery. I graduated from highschool went to college majoring in literature. I got my masters degree and became an author. My life was perfect I have a steady boyfriend engaged with him getting married in 6 months. But back to the story. I was in my study with my fiancé. Then I heard whispering. "Remember me ...." I looked to my right and saw her face rotted I couldn't help it I screamed. My fiancé ( nash by the way) was on his feet in less than one millisecond. "What's wrong?" he said when he saw me violently shaking."N-n-n-nothing." I was way past sobbing by this point. He enveloped me in an embrace. I saw her face over his shoulder. I couldn't help it I gave her a follow me look. "I'm just tired I'm going to bed. I love you." I said a fake smile plastered on my face. "Ok" he said a quizzical look on his face. I looked over my shoulder to make sure jacey was following me as I left the room.
