In the show, It would have been great to have an episode were the Doctor and the current companion had a little fun. Danced around the TARDIS listening to music and being weird and fun. Maybe played dress up, ( yes, I know it sounds funny. It would be so cute though.) picked a time or planet and dressed like the natives did. Maybe hung out in the library and read books, played board games.
What about the Doctor and his,companion going to a Theme park or something.
Or if it was a certain companion, they would have a cute, romantic moment.
