Blair's POV

It took a little while for everyone to board the plane since there were so many people boarding. My seat's next to Dom, with Serena and Carter across from us. She's so lucky, I would do anything to sit with him.

I wore black yoga pants and a cropped t-shirt because I wanted to be comfortable but still attractive. I have to get Carter to notice me over Serena, she always steals my spotlight. I've loved Carter since the first day of high school, and everyone knows that he's in love with my best friend.

They've always had some sort of spark between them, whether either of them realizes that. So she parades around acting like she hates his guts while he goes off hooking up with every girl he meets.

Serena wore black shorts and a flannel since it was 85 degrees when we left Calabasas, CA. I guess she was going for the 'I'm-going-to-steal-my-best-friend's-crush-without-even-trying' look. How generous and caring of her.

Anyway, everything was going terrible until she asked to switch spots with me.
"Hey B will you switch seats with me for a few minutes? I'm growing tired of this pig's presence," she said.

Of course she'd say that, as if I'm the one doing her a favor, that's funny. I got up and we switched seats so I was sitting right next to Carter.

"Hey babe nice pants," He said with a smirk. "Why don't you turn around so I can get a better look."

"Real funny, Carter. Incase you've forgotten, we still have a project to get done and I'd rather do that now to get it over with." I said as I took my macbook pro out of my bag. I set it on top of my lap and started to log on.

"Well... are you sure there's nothing you'd rather do first?" He asked while closing the top of my computer. "Because there are a few things I could think of doing instead." He smirked and rested his hand on my thigh.

Slowly, he started moving his hand up my thigh back and forth. I didn't want Serena to see what was happening, so I turned my body to face him to block her view. "Can we do this some other time? Some people might see or hear us." I motioned towards Serena.

"Why would she care? It's not like there's anything between us. She hates me, and the feeling seems to be mutual." He said.

"As if it isn't obvious. There's something between the two of you, whether you realize it or not. It's unexplainable and confusing, but it's still there," I explained. "There will never be anything between us as long as those feelings are still there."

"S, can we switch back now?" I asked. "I'm just going to continue doing research and I'd suggest you do the same, Carter."

"Yeah, sure B." With that, I stood up with my computer and switched spots with her. "Are you okay?" Serena whispered into my ear.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just the usual." I explained before settling down into my seat. Here's hoping that the flight is a lot faster than it's been feeling like.
