"Y/n? Y/n? Wake up! It's your prom day!" I hear my mom say.
I wake up and look at my phone. She's right. Was it all a dream?
"How long was I out for?" I ask.
"You went to bed around 8:30," she says.
I just sigh and get up.
"Okay, thanks for waking me up," I look for my dress.
How could it have all been a dream? It felt too real. I thought my dream was real. From Sean hitting me to Ruel and I kissing. I'm still stuck with Sean.

I exit the limo Sean had decided to rent for the night. I walk into the gymnasium and seeing that everything is purple and white. People dancing and drinking punch.
After 30 more minutes, a slow song comes on.
"Let's dance, princess," Sean grabs my hand.
We go onto the dance floor and I'm full of regret. I look around and see Ruel watching Sean and I dance.
"I love you and you only," Sean whispers in my ear.
"Love you too, babe," I feel him hold me tighter.
It feels wrong to be dancing with him. I want to be with Ruel.
I let go of Sean and walk out of the gym.
I sit on a chair nearby and cry. How could it all have been a dream?
One day, it won't be just a wish. Maybe we're not meant for each other right now.
