I Blame The Time For Curses-Chapter 13

(Liya's POV)

Um of course not...!" Alexis said nervously, thinking what I said was off the hook just because i think that the creature or person or whatever following us before was well, still following us! "No, I'm telling you Alexis, I swear I saw eyes watching us when I woke up!" I whisper-shouted, trying to convince my overly stubborn sister, "And If that isn't proof enough I hear leaves crunching towards us right now! It isn't safe here!" I added, I would say, I did make a very good point,butttttttttttt she didn't believe me. "Liya, If leaves were crunching towards us right now, wouldn't this 'creature' have already gotten to us? And," Alexis started, mocking me which I took very offensive."If this creature really want to get to us, for one, the creature would've made sure not to step on leaves, as to not alert us, and two, if this creature really wanted to get to us, Almand-this creature would've taken us while we were sleeping!" Alexis said, or so I thought... was this really Alexis...? "..................................................................................................................wait... did you just almost call the creature following us Almando?"

Alexis Malon walked around, lost in the forest. "Liya? Hello? Anybody? Sapphire? Solar? Anyone here?" She tried calling out, only to get nothing as an answer, "Hello? Where is everybody els—OWW!" Alexis hopped around grabbing her foot in pain, "Damn forest shouldn't have broken glass!" She cursed, and wiped off the glass shards from her bare foot, as she had lost her shoes god knows where, and now she was traveling the forest with bare feet which really wasn't convenient. The lost girl looked around and found where the source of broken glass was, "What is that?" Alexis asked no one in particular curiously, squatting down putting her wait on her feet, and cautiously reached out a hand to pick a piece of glass off the metal/glass object, the 'object' was like a time turner, it had the metal outside with a glass inside and tan sand tumbling out of it. She gingerly picked up the object of metal and glass and put the chain around her neck, making sure to take out all the broken glass before putting it on.

Suddenly, the metal object started spinning, there was a flash of bright light, and Alexis prepared herself to open her eyes and be in the future or the past, but rather, something completely different happened, time stopped,every leave that was falling down to the ground from a tree branch, froze in thin air, the branches stopped swaying around in the breeze, the wind stopped blowing, a family of squirrels chattering grew silent and stopped munching on their newly found acorns, Alexis nervously put a foot in front of her, only to find she was the only thing that could move. She had tried to not set it off but it just did... wait! Didn't she read a book about time-freezers? That only the time-freezer will freeze time when activated by one with magical blood...

Sianaty? Sainaty! Get away from there now!" Sianaty's roommate shouted in terror, "Mom, I'm fine! I promise!" Sianaty called back to her roommate who acted just like her mother, "geez a little over protective huh?" Sianaty mumbled, and reluctantly climbed out of the huge whole her roommate's dog had dug in her private garden in Kylims academy, shouldn't he have done it in his owners yard? Sianaty vowed to never understand this-though then Sianaty was cut off from this train of thoughts when she heard her roommate and friends scream, quickly, the teenager ran as fast as she could towards the source of the screams, and stopped running, halting in her tracks when she got there just in time to see her roommate and friend freeze, their screams stopping abruptly, their faces instead freezing over in terror, Sianaty ran over to the window, only to see the treetops blowing in the little wind stop swaying, the roommate's dog stopped barking, and a chilly freezing cold wind blew over Sianaty's arms, making her shiver and goose bumps arose, it felt like a curse.

Liya's face of suspicion for this "Alexis" stopped immediately, not meaning her suspicion was over, it just, well, stopped. Everything stopped to be precise, the wolves smacking of jaws as they gobbled up the meat, Liya's hair blowing in the breeze, the the thorny rose bushes swinging from side to side in the wind, "Alexis" sitting next to Liya, frozen with fear, Litterly, the creature following the group, except one thing-actually, except two things, their names were Sapphire and Solar, instead of freezing over like everyone and everything else, their eyes lit up, a blood red color seeped into their eyes, dying them red, howls of the two wolves could be heard from miles around, and last but definitely not last, their teeth's grew jagged, and they let let out throaty dangerous growls in unison, there was only one solution, this was caused by dark magic.

Back in the green leafy frozen forest, the real Alexis looked around, confused, should she twist the time-freezer? Or just leave it alone and everything will just unfreeze on it's record? She decided to go with twisting it, so she twisted it once, nothing happened, she twisted it twice, basically nothing happened beside Alexis feeling a bit whoosh and diizzy, she twisted it three times, her eyes glowed as if she was under a curse, but she didn't notice, she twisted it four times, nothing happened, so she rolled her eyes at herself, annoyed that nothing had happened, so she sat down on her knees, then laid down on her stomach, soon finding it was quite uncomfortable to lay down with the time-freezer still around her neck, so she decided to twist her body around to take it off, making the time-freezer twist a fifth time, fives time a charm, but it wasn't exactly a charm, just the opposite actually. She sat up, eyes glowing so much her eyes looked like a lantern,she floated off the ground, her clothes transforming into a white nightgown, which billowed in the sudden heavy wind, Alexis's hair floated behind her like a fire crackling in the air, she looked like a cursed 12 year old, and since she looked like one, she was cursed right? Exactly, Alexis Malon was cursed.

Hope it was filled with excitement! I know I haven't been updating a lot but I'll try to update more often, I really promise! All though knowing me I haven't been keeping these promises 😬😬😬😜
