Alexis Malon
As the strange man who claimed to be 'the prisoner' walked beside me, I shifted uncomfortably as a powerful chill ran up my spine, causing me to shiver in the sudden frost of freezing cold wind. We had been walking in the forest, the prisoner leading me nowhere I knew of, but I didn't dare ask as he was well, a criminal also known as prisoner. I froze as I got a peek of the top of a castle as we walked farther through the woods. "Uh, Mr.Prisoner? Why do I see a castle up ahead?" I exclaimed as my curiosity got the best of me, "Ah yes youngster, the reason why is 'cause we tis heading for the masters castle!" The prisoner said cheerfully in his accent as I felt a pang in my heart as he called me youngster, missing when Headmaster Jaquels Misley Kylim called me that. "If you don't mind me asking, who is 'the master'?" I questioned. The man looked at me as if I had grown an extra five heads. "Get a life miss! The master is Livesy! Ya know, the legendary Livesy Malon!" He said in a duh tone. But I didn't smack my forehead against my palm because of my stupidity, instead, I froze. Livesy Malon? "Sir, you must be mistaken, are you sure, like positively sure completely sure Livesy's last name is Malon?" I laughed shakily, no he must be mistaken, Malon? "Um how old are you sir?" I asked before the prisoner had a chance to answer my first question. "Well," he started to reply in a just as cheerful tone as he had used earlier, " I was born 1901, on September 27, then I was thought to be a criminal for five years, then I became a real criminal for a year, but then I got thrown in prison for robbing a bank, murdering a few people who wouldn't give me money when I attacked their house, then there I stayed in prison for 45 years, so rounding that a up, I am 51 years old." I shook my head, see? He was just getting a little coo-koo in the head in his age, that's all it was. "Wait! You do know you could have just added up the years! You were born 1901, and now it's 1952! Boom done! Your 51 years!" I burst out, getting annoyed he'd take up my precious tight time for adding up the years of his criminal records. "Well this tis awkward! Don't mean to hurt you and your inside young chap but uh, you only knew I was 51 that quick cause I told ya." There the accent was again, heavy and hard, annoying me to pieces. "Arg! Let's just get to the point! My last name is Malon! Not Livesy's! Only my last name! Not his! Not his!" I shouted desperately, knowing I was just trying to convince myself more than the prisoner. "I would know Alexis, I'm Livesy Malon's brother, you can call me David Malon." He said oh so calmly. "WHAT?!?!?!?!?!" Could be heard out far away from the woods, but still sounding like a voice whispering right in your hear it was so loud but quiet like the whisper I was talking about. "So are you like my grandpa or something like that?" David chuckled, shaking his head. "Oh Alexis, Alexis Alexis, no no no." "Would you stop saying everything three times?" I cried out in frustration, "Alexis, I am your uncle" David said. How could he be so calm?Wait if he was my uncle...no no, that wasn't true, wasn't possible, not possible, he couldn't be... "Is Livesy my dad?" I finally mustered up the words to say but only to croak it out. "In a way, he abandoned you when you were three and took your sister though." David said casually, shrugging just to push me off the edge. "HOW COULD YOU BE SO CALM ABOUT THIS?! LIVESY? LIVESY MALON? LIVESY 'MALON' IS MY DAD???!!!" I finally let myself burst out, shaking quite out of control.
"Yeah about that..." David began awkwardly but I cut him off. "Right now we don't have time for this, I'll just use me being his stupid freaking DAUGHTER as an excuse to get people to fight the army, convine them that even though I'm his DAUGHTER, I still want to defeat him." I said emphasising hugely on the daughter part. "Wait what?" David questioned "oh yeah! I'm was going to travel back in time alone to recruit an army, but now that your here, I don't have to do it alone!" I said cheerfully, grinning up at him, "But won't people just refuse since if we travel back in time your dad is still good even though I can't understand he can become bad, he's always so kind and caring." Oh this would be fun, maybe even more fun than calling Liya a granny. "Yes but if we go forward in time, everyone will be to scared to go up against my father." I explained patiently. "But uhhhhh, wouldn't it be safer if I uh, stayed here to you know, um make sure my brother doesn't strike?" My uncle suggested hopefully, oh this would so be more fun than calling Liya a granny. "The more the merrier." My grin widened if that was even possible, but David wouldn't give up yet. "Shouldn't I keep a look out for Liya?" He suggested a little too hopefully. "I know she's frozen, and I do miss her, a lot, but you should really REALLY come with me." I gave him huge puppy eyes, grinning wildly which only made me look like Cheshire Cat. "Fine," he grumbled out. " I'll come with you back in time." He heaved a sigh as he hooked his arm to my arm ready to hook on to his. "Then let's go!" I said excitedly, imitating a child who was in a candy shop. " Back In Time, here we come!" I howled out, and I and a very reluctant uncle trudged through the forest, looking for a time back in timer, or a uh, what do we call it? I forget... ah yes! A time turner!
