T'Challa's POV

Loki had disappeared... he had been gone for hours when he had finally appeared with Y/N.

"What happened?! Where did you go?!" I rushed over.

Y/N wore a small smile, "I'm fine. I just went on a small adventure... that's all."

I walked over and slipped my hand into hers. She was ice cold.
"Y/N I don't understand-" I then turned my head to look at Loki, "what did you do?!"

"Absolutely nothing."

"I cant trust you. You're a villian." I growled.

"T'Challa it's fine" Y/N soothed. She gave my hand a gentle squeeze.
I looked into her eyes which begged me to calm down.

"Alright..." I said softly.

She had gently let go of me, instantly, the others rushed over in worry.

"Loki?!"

Natasha instantly tried to arrest him again but Y/N spoke suddenly, "Let him be... he saved my life."

"Well, what happened?!" Steve urged.

"I need to speak with Tony..." She said softly.

Everyone went silent as she left the room.
Loki looked at Natasha and gave an innocent smile.
  "Stay put!" Growled Natasha.

Your POV

I made my way to Tony and stood in front of him as he worked on his suit.

"Y/N have you seen Peter? I want him-"

"I need to speak with you," I interrupted.

He peered up at me with his glasses and paused, "Um... alright."

I sat down and began to tell him everything that had occurred with Hela. Tony stared in disbelief.

"Y/N..." He took off his glasses and rubbed one of his eyes.

"Yes?"

"You tried to rescue... my dead daughter?" He peered at me with critical eyes.

"I know it sounds bad- I shouldn't have gotten in your business..." I began.

Tony stood and began to pace, "The one thing I wanted was for a new future with our team... not to go back to the past."

"But Tony! She's alive. If we can bring her back-"

"No! She's a ghost!" He hollered and slammed his hand down on the desk. I jumped a little.
My mouth opened a little to protest, but I shut it knowing I could make the situation worse.

Tony peered down at the desk, "And... she's gone..." his voice cracked a little. A tear ran down his cheek.
       I watched in complete silence.

"...."

He sniffed and glanced at the window, avoiding eye contact and brushing away a visible tear.
"Tony..." I whispered, "let me help you..."

"There's nothing you can do... once someone dies, they're gone..." he said in a hushed voice.

"But that isnt true! We can help bring her back... not all hope is lost-"

"Enough." He growled. He looked into my eyes with a fire I had never seen before, "go home..."

"But-"

"Go. Home." He stood and faced the window.

I silently stood, no words left my mouth and I exited the room.
Frustrated, and a little pessimistic, I packed everything. I heard a knock on the frame of my door.

I turned around to see T'Challa... my only love and my only home.

"We have to return to Wakanda..." I spoke softly.

"Why?"

"Tony's orders" I turned back to pack up.

He walked over and helped me fold some clothes without any questions.
I reached to grab something off the shelf of my room when I felt his warm arms embrace me from behind.
I let out a quiet breath and felt a tear stream down my cheek as I closed my eyes.

"You tried..." he spoke softly. It was almost as if he knew everything that had happened.

"And I failed..." I sniffed.

He leaned over and kissed my cheek as he pulled me closer, "You are going to fail... that's just human nature..." he murmured softly.

I blushed, feeling his breath dance across my skin. I turned around, surrendering myself into his warm cuddles.
      "Let's go home..." I whispered.

We packed and ended up traveling through the night. Everyone from the team had spoken their goodbyes except for Tony Stark... the man T'Challa decided was to be hated.
I had fallen asleep in my seat and the sun slowly arose from the horizon.
The jet flying us began to slow and come to a halt as I opened my eyes and stretched.

T'Challa had been awake for a while, "Good morning."

I peered up at him and cracked a smile, I was happy to wake up to this charming man every morning, "Hi..." I yawned.

He chuckled, "Are you ready?"

I nodded and we both began to stand up, I reached my arms up in the air for a long and relaxing stretch before leaving the ship.
Many of the guards, all of them female, welcomed us back from our short trip.

"I'm glad to see you again." Shuri smiled.

"I'm happy to be back." I spoke politely.

"Come brother, I have much to tell you." She instantly turned to grab T'Challa's arm. He laughed and allowed her to drag him behind.

"I'll catch up to you Y/N. Okay?"

"Alright!" I managed to smile as he disappeared into the building.

A part of me longed to go back to New York, but I was happy to be at home.
       Free and resting at last...
