P̶A̶R̶A̶D̶I̶S̶E̶

The sky was dark blue and the clouds were grey. The wind blew on my body as I looked at the neon sign up above on the building. I took a deep breath before I went up to the bouncer and showed him my ID. He looked at my face then at my ID and said that I was good to go inside the club.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐧, 𝐈 𝐠𝐨.

I walked into the club and admittedly saw Antonio upstairs sitting down in his booth looking at the crowded people below him. I don't know if my eyes were playing games on me because looking at Antonio from afar looks like he's sad or just not interested in what's going on in the club. I noticed that there were bouncers around his booth and I panicked. I saw the bathroom sign for women and walked in there quickly, for some reason I felt like I couldn't stand. As soon as I walked in the bathroom, three women were leaving and after they left I checked the other stools and all of them were empty. Thank GOD. The bathroom was pretty fancy and decent, the lightbulbs were blue and green.

I put the earpiece from my purse into my ear and I admittedly heard Steven's soft voice.

"Are you inside?" He asks.

"Yes," I say. "But I don't feel like I can do it, it's just too many people here and plus he has bouncers around his booth. I don't know who is watching," I looked down at the sink in front of me.

"Listen to me, Rachel. You got this, your the only person who can get us close to Michael Ramirez. Your smart, your beautiful, and most importantly you're strong." Steven says and my breathing slowed down.

"Copy that, I will get to Antonio," I said before I looked at myself in the mirror. I had my hair up in a nice bun and I noticed that I did my makeup perfectly well. I was wearing a satin green v-neck dress that was long but it had splits on both sides so it showed off my legs. I was also wearing green heels to match with the dress and honestly, I looked extremely beautiful. I didn't have enough time to look at myself in the mirror at the hotel so looking at myself now gave me the confidence to go out there and get my acting skills on. I opened the bathroom door and walked out.

The club was filled with people dancing and grinding on each other. It smelt of alcohol and sweat as I walked through the entrance. A guy tried to grab my arm to dance with him but I shook my head and continued walking.

"Dance with me!" He shouted and I continued walking.

"Am good!" I shouted back.

I needed a drink to cool me down because I was a nervous wreck at this point. I know Steven is out watching me with Han but I don't know if he's here in the club right now. All I know is that I need a drink to boost my energy. So, I headed to the bartender It was a girl with red burgundy hair. She was wearing a black tube top with high waisted dark washed blue shorts, she had a few tattoos on her body but two stick out the most. A rose that was on her shoulder and a quote on her arm that said "Walk by faith, not by sight."

She looked younger than me but being black you could never know the right age. She looked like she carried herself well with confidence as she made different drinks for people. Not that I mind, I love it when a girl is confident in herself. I just need some confidence right now because I was not feeling right about drugging this guy.

"You alright?" The girl with the red burgundy hair asked. I didn't realize I was already sitting down on the stool.

"Yeah.....no. I just need some confidence right now." I turned around and looked at Antonio in the booth.

"Well maybe, you can give him this. It's his favorite drink." The girl slid a cup of Blue Hawaiian to me, I looked at the cup then at her. Her dark skin shined through the neon lights that were around the club.
