She grew up in Brooklyn, born into a mid class family. Her father is a doctor at a local clinic. Her mom died when she was ten years old in a car crash. Her father did the best he could to raise her and her three siblings. Due to not having a mother figure growing up she looked to older girls at school to show her how to be. This resulted in her becoming the popular girl's pet throughout middle school. After a humiliating event of getting yogurt poured over her head, she vowed not to be used by anyone again. She's at the school on a scholarship, having caught the presidents attention at a middle school art show.
