the two keep this going for days actually, whenever the latter shows up or enters a room. lia would simply freak out, stand up and leave. ryujin kind of got the message already and also started to avoid lia because this was getting awkward and the younger even wondered when they would have time to speak. the exams were over but ryujin could still use another excuse to go and meet the older. she herself doesn't get why the older intrigues her so much. ryujin never engrossed her thought capacity towards anyone, but why now. she keeps on telling herself that that kiss meant nothing and continues along with her day.

the school day was over and lia was getting ready to exit the premises. as she was standing at the gate lia heard someone running towards her direction. she had a confused expression plastered on her face seeing the younger running into people bewildered and started to giggle while she looked at the blue-head causing a bit of havoc. the older really sighs in conflict to herself wondering if she should actually listen to what the younger wants to say this time.

"choi jisu!"ryujin shouted lia's name,suddenly holding up a paper high in the sky as she continues."look look the results for the biology exam,its finally here."the older face morphed into one of worry and anxiety, she couldn't believe that the marks were out so soon, well mr kim was known for being a rapid marker.

unlike the brunette, ryujin was glistening with happiness and even started to nudge lia in her tummy in a teasing manner."ouch remove your bone hard elbows from my delicate skin, come on tell me how you did."ryujin laughed and parroted back "hey it isn't my fault that you arent eating enough protein to withstand this."she continued "anyways i got a whole ass 92."

ryujin began to hop up and down excitedly like a toddler, lia had no choice but to mirror the younger."oh my god, im so happy for ryujin." they've been at this for a while and some people even started to look at them weirdly. they decided to stop the mini hops with hands intertwined and ryujin said" i can't even thank you enough but i wanna ask if you want to go on a ice-cream date with me."

lia was dismayed and a blush even crept on her cheeks, "d-date?."ryujin a bit embarrassed replied "ah,just like a hang out i still want to make it up to you."

"ill text you later, we can go to the waterfront area and celebrate."

"okay sounds good, just know that i'm a huge sweet tooth so get those dollar notes ready."lia replied.

"see you then." the older said as she rolled her eyes and gave a 'really' look and chucked at the brunettes dry humour, leaving the school gates.

lia already knows that this isn't a date but she can't stop herself from overthinking how she should wear and present herself for the ice-cream night walk. she decides on a cute chic outfit, wearing a floral loose blouse and black jeans assisted with these cute sandals (those that are meant for people with beautiful toes). she wanted to keep it classy and casual and didn't forget to throw on her moon crescent gold necklace. 'never forget to accessorise' is one life rule lia swears upon.

she exits the house and takes the bus to the area where the ryujin and her agreed on. the older gets off the bus and instantly sees the blue-head sitting on the porch stoop on the phone,most probably waiting for lia. she looks up feeling the others presence and lia can't describe how the older always seems to put her on edge. she was wearing a black crop top with a denim jacket, a high waisted jean with some edgy sneakers, utter perfection. ryujin turned her head and gave the older a radiant smile and that instantly took the latter out of her mini drool session. the younger always had this affect on her.

"hah, thought you weren't gonna make it."ryujin said cutely as she stood up heading to the direction of the older. "pfft me! letting an offer like this go,no way. i've always been a free food activist." the brunette replied trying to sound as natural as possible and not ruin the atmosphere of this 'date'. ryujin chuckled,and she just looked at the older she didn't say anything it felt as if she was just admiring the others presence. lia felt this and almost started to glow under the youngers overjoyed gaze.

they both walked towards the ice-cream cart and ryujin was shocked, one should never underestimate lia's petite body because my oh my was she ordering so many different toppings and flavours that didn't make sense and the blue-head felt like she would puke any moment listening to the orders.

they both got their delicacies and decided to go on a stroll. ryujin had a strawberry and vanilla swirl while the older got herself a dessert filled with jelly babies,different ice cream flavours and little bacon chips in the middle of it.

the sky was quite unbelievable tonight giving hues of azure and sapphire that just glowed on the olders face. the wind howled softly and rustled lia's hair every minute. wow, it's times like these where ryujin appreciates lia's lengthy hair when she has to take it out of her face now and then and the older finds this action adorable. why is her heart beating this way, whenever she's in the presence of lia, even if it's silent her heart always paces and doesn't comply.

the two walk in reticence,this feeling of stillness and calmness that doesn't have an ounce of indifference was a concept they both enjoyed.

"i really thought that you were going to ditch me tonight,since you've been ignoring me all week " the younger started, wavering her face in a mini pout. the brunette hummed and replied with nothing because she felt so guilty. "f-for that ryu-" the blue headed interrupted "did you regret it...the kiss i mean."

lia looked at her confused but complied and answered the younger thruthfully "no i didn't."

"me too" ryujin answered instantly. "im glad actually."

the two just looked at each other, each looking for something deep in the others eyes.then suddenly ryujin started to laugh wholesomely bringing her hand on the olders shoulder ,she had an effect on lia and she started to do the same looking at the youngers way of just burying this confusion that both of them were feeling.

their snickers weren't forced though, it was true amusement and abliss,you would think they were high on something other than the ice cream, but for the whole night it was that kind of vibe,it felt as if there was a newly found friendship maybe.
