Ch: 19 Award Ceremony

After Few Days

Their Marriage date is approaching, they have already started doing their end of shopping and all but Kartik and Naira are able to spend a lot of time together. The only they got with each other was via phone or video calls as due to the share the Kartik bought from Singhanias resulted in a lot of Workload for Naira to gain back and Kartik was also equally busy in a project of the Goenkas. Both of them wanted to complete their project and enjoy their marriage much in a better way.

It was one fine day Naira got the a news she was so happy, she jumped and told her father, getting blessings from him she called up Kartik," Kartikk......", he was little shocked she was calling, no screaming his name on the top of her voice, he calmed her down and asked," Naira.... Kya hua.. Sab thik hai..."

Naira: ooh Kartik you have no idea... I am sooo happy..

Kartik: Aisa kya hua Jaan

Naira: I am being awarded as top most business women of the month for that mall project...

Kartik too jumped and said," Wow... congratulations...Jaan... you deserved it..!!!"

Naira: Thank you... or pata hai yahan.. Outskirts of the city mein ek bahut bade resort mein party hai... I am going tonight...

Kartik, gave a thoughtful look and said," Okay Jaanu.. you take care and big big congratulations..", he passed a flying kiss to her and both of them resumed their work.

In the evening Naira, packed her bag, to overnight stay and dressed herself in a beautiful gray color Satin Saree accompanied with a beautiful sleeveless silver sequin blouse. She took blessings from her parents and went to gather the journey of her award. But she seemed a little disturb, as her mind was on Kartik.

" Shaam se phone kar rahi hoon, apni pic bhj di mene, koi answer hi nahi aa raha hai Mendak ka. Aakhir kahan gayab hai ye...!!", she was wondering the whole journey, when finally she reached there. Getting out, first she checked-in her room, which hotel people have booked and then giving a little touch up to herself, she moved to the ballroom, where a party was arranged for her. No doubt she was missing her love, her mendak and that was pretty evident on her face. She was shaking hands with business associates, greeting them, when she felt a soft touch on her waist, she turned immediately only to find Kartik standing behind her," Hello Ms. Singhania."

Her Happiness was no bound,she wanted to jump and scream and hug him but seeing the decorum and moreover none of them knew about their relation, she kept mum and flashed her smile," Hello, Mr. Goenka..", she said but shyness was not leaving her face as the way Kartik's eyes were scanning her making current to ran through her building. He couldn't able to control himself and took her hand asking," May I..", she nodded while blushing badly and he softly put a sweet kiss on back of her hand," congratulation", he smiled and she replied," Thanks...", crossing her he stopped and he whispered in her ear," By God..!! agar party na ho rahi hoti to humara celebration to bht hi hot aur romantic hota..".

"Acha... bhala vo kyu..", though she knew the answer yet asked him..

"Arey ab meri hone wali biwi itni sunder, hot, gorgeous, sexy lagegi to control kerna mushkil hi hoga na...", saying he went to greet other people leaving a blushing girl. She smiled to herself and went to the center table for the ceremony. Without her knowledge even Kartik slowly sat beside her, making her shock when he caressed her hand from below the table.

She looked at him ashotnished asking to leave but he gripped his hold on her hand, as if saying I am not gonna leave you. She just smiled to herself, her cheeks were getting beetroot red, seems the blush she has applied doesn't provide that much effect as Kartik's touch had given.
