Meet Harper. Her whole family moved up from Madison when she was just twelve so herself and her sister Michelle had no choice but to change dance studios. They were both technically trained dancers and had been at a studio their whole lives so when Michelle auditioned for a new studio called The Next Step and made their competitive team, she convinced her younger sister to join their junior troupe.
When Harper made it into J Troupe, she met one of her closest friends Noah. The two of them clicked instantly and when a girl the same age named Richelle joined, they all became best friends. Harper danced on J Troupe for a while and developed into a beautiful dancer. She wasn't quite on Richelle's level, because lets face it who was, but she was very strong at contemporary, ballet and jazz, plus she had a few good tricks to throw out that made her dancing even better. Her one weak point was hip-hop, the girl had never been so good at it and just couldn't quite get it right. but that was something she could easily practice and work on.
The problems came along for Harper when she was faced with challenges to her confidence and self-esteem, alongside new feelings that she had never experienced before.

a/n: hi everyone, i've decided to make a story about the next step but involving my own character who is michelle's sister. it will take place over four seasons as stated above and will be a love interest for noah so if you're a noah x jacqui or noah x richelle stan then i don't recommend this book. i would also like to point out that harper (the main character) has been at the next step since season one because that's when michelle joined but there wasn't much material to work with so i've decided to write it from season three onward. i really hope you enjoy it :)
