The Grand Magic Games

~Flashback~

After telling them there were a few moments of silence and then Sting said, "You can join, everyone meet your new guildmates, Lucy!" Everyone cheered.

"Now I have an announcement about who will be entering the GMG!" Sting said. The Guild waited anxiously to see who would be chosen.

~Flashback end ~

Sting made his way up to the second-floor balcony. Everyone quieted down; they were eager to hear the five who had been chosen.

Then he said, "This year the competitors for the games will be Rogue. Orga, Yukino, Minerva, and since I can't participate I would like Lucy to take my place. You have three months to train and then we're off to the games."

Sabertooth started cheering and Sting came back down to the first floor and went up to Lucy.

"We'll be facing Fairy tail in this year's GMG, so if you don't want to participate I can choose someone else." Sting said unsure if she actually wanted to face them yet. Three months was not a lot of time to push past feelings and he didn't want to force into something she didn't want.

"No, it's ok. I'll participate, I've been working on some new tricks anyway that I haven't shown fairy tail so we can see how well they work after I've mastered them, and with Cosmo, I'm sure he will be able to help with it and show me some new things." Lucy replied.

"You won't be training by yourself. We're both celestial wizards so we'll work together and CRUSH fairy tail." Yukino said excitedly.

"Yes, we'll show them they drove out the wrong person. We're happy to have you in our guild, so let's get training," Minerva says, the others nodding and smiling with her. " See you in three months Sting if you need us just call."

With that, they walked out of the guild and started heading home to pack. Lucy was staying at Yukino's house Since she had an extra room and wanted to catch up to Lucy on all the things they missed.

~Timeskip next day~

Yukino's pov-

-Beep Beep Beep Beep be-

CRASH

"Shut up stupid alarm"

I groan, as light filters through the curtains, turning over in bed I hide my face in a pillow.

Knock knock

"What?" I groaned.

"It's time for breakfast Yuki," I hear Lucy giggle outside the door.

I roll out of bed wrapping my blanket around me and open the door.

"You're not ready yet? We have to meet the others at the station in 20 minutes." She scolds.

20 minutes... WAIT 20 MINUTES!

"WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP! Nevermind, can you please make me a plate to go?" I ask with my best baby doll eyes.

"I'll take a quick shower and get changed and then we can leave," I reassure her.

"Okay but make it quick I don't want to upset them by being late especially not Minerva." With that Lucy and I both shiver.

"Right"

I quickly shut the door, and get ready for my shower I turn the water and get in.

~Timeskip~

I ran out my door and out of the house, I accidentally stayed in the shower too long. I saw Lucy waiting for me. As soon as she saw me she tossed my plate of food to me and we both started running to the Station. We are going to be in so much trouble I thought. Minerva will be so mad. Lucy must've noticed my expression because she started running faster summoning two spirits, Loke and Virgo.

"Can you please get us two the station in the next minute!" Lucy and yelled, and with that, we were off. Their superhuman speed got us to the station with only seconds to spare.

"We *huff* made it *huff* just in time." Lucy wheezed out.

"Yeah, thanks," I said before collapsing.

"Punishment time, Hime?" We sweatdrop.

"Uh, no thanks Virgo you can just go back to the spirit world," Lucy replies.

"So, why does Virgo ask for punishment exactly?" Cosmo asks after they leave back to the spirit realm.

"We don't know she just likes punishment... for some reason.?" Lucy says unsure of her own answer. Yukino nods in agreement.

When they get to the group with the others.

"Your Late!" Minerva yells making people look our way, "EXPLAIN!"

"I overslept," I said quietly.

" Oh really, because you almost made us miss the train next time this happens we won't wait for you if it does end up leaving," Minerva says in a stern voice. Lucy and I shiver and reply with a 'yes ma'am' before heading to our seats. When the train started moving Rogue immediately got sick and before Minerva could knock him out, Lucy pulled him onto her lap and started rubbing his back and he soon fell asleep.

"There's no need to knock him out and it'll be easier to wake him up if he's asleep," she says. Minerva just nodded saying she had a point.

~timeskip 3 months later at the GMG~

(sorry I'm too lazy to write about training.)

Lucy pov-

We're finally here, the GMG. I'm gonna see them again. I have to admit I'm kinda nervous, really nervous actually. As I walk with my team we meet up at the Inn Sabertooth is Staying at and see Sting and the rest of the guild there waiting.

"Hey guys, how's training going?" Sting asks with a smile on his face.

"Really good, and guess what Yukino and Lucy have mastered!" Minerva says giggling like a little girl.

"Oh Yeah, what?"

"Wolf slaying magic, well Lucy has Yukino has Tiger slaying."

"What?" Sting asks, confused and shocked.

Minerva starts to explain, "Well remember when Lucy found Cosmo. Well apparently he's known as a familiar, and there are more Yukino found one while we were training and when they have their familiars out they can do this thing called Cosmic Animal slayer magic where they can combine their abilities and use star dresses, and it's super powerful!"

Minerva says it all really fast but they can tell that Sting Understood all of it. His jaw was touching the floor.

"No Way!" he says in disbelief "really?!"

"Yup" me and Yukino reply.

"Cool" everyone shouts, and that is how the grand magic games started.
