Weeks had passed since I resumed at Rosé and it's been good. No unnecessary drama so far. It was a Monday and we were in our last period before break. We were having Mathematics and the teacher was just dictating notes.
A whole maths class! Argghh.Thank God it's almost time for break.
"...Recall that under number base system,we discussed number of digits in a particular number base. Eg: base eight (ie; octal system has 8 digits with the exclusion of 8 itself." Mr Frank, our maths teacher was dictating maths note! :(
Very boring class, out of 50+ students we were not up to ten people awake not to talk of who was listening and who was not. I was just drawing rubbish in my jotter.
" If you feel sleepy,close the book and rest your head. It's not good to over stress your brain." Mr Frank said to the girl in the front row. She has been nodding for like fifteen minutes now. "You can borrow notes later and update your notes." He continued.
Ogbeni the whole class is sleeping 🙄. Borrow from who naa??!!

The bell for break rang just then.
"Ok,that will be all for today. If you have missed any test or you scored too low,you can come for make up test by 3pm on Sunday. Goodbye." Mr Frank ended the class and left.
" Chika are you going to the tuck shop?" Chisom asked me.
"Yeah,any problem?"
"Help me na please..."
"What are you buying?"
"Two big Fanta, one Zobo, three egg rolls,three meat pies and two galas. Thank you."
"Osikwano thank you"I said, giving her a glare"I will kuku buy the whole tuck shop. What are you doing with all that? Give me wheel barrow na!"
"She wants to send it to her Mate." Ada shouted from the next row.
"Shey you will not shut up!" Chisom shouted back.
"Abeg what is Mate?"
"When you come back I will tell you,time is going."
"Am sending a junior student. I cannot be carrying these things like a tuck shop attendant abii waitress."
"Ohh. Just go."
I got to the class corridor and spotted a junior student."See,this girl come here." I said to the girl.
"What is your name?"
"Blossom"
"JS what?"
"2A"
"Good. Come and help me buy something------"
" Senior I cannot go there. I have an assignment to do and we are submitting it after break."
"You didn't even allow me finish talking but it's fine tho. You can go and come back,the time is just 11:29. Break ends by 11:50."
"And Senior a teacher sent me to the tuck shop sef. I cannot go please."
"Ok so from assignment to teacher sent. My friend collect this thing! If the teacher sent you it means you don't have to join the queue so it's even good sef. Be back in 15 minutes!" I gave her the money and list and went back to the class.
"Ehen oo. Oya continue, what is Mate?"
"Don't let them brain wash you oo. Mate is-----"
"Ada you will not mind your business baa?" Faith spoke up this time.
"Leave her oo. I don't know what is wrong with her!" Olivia sighed.
" What was she going to say?" I asked.
"Lesbian partner"
"Aahhhh! Hmm,ok oo."
"That's not what it means abeg oo,unless you want to be doing lele with your own."
"Lies. Ok what does it mean?" Ada asked. By this time she had gotten to our corner of the class.
"Best friend!" Chisom answered.
"Ehheennn. Best friends that need connection to be best friends?? What happened to the person that has been your friend since JSS1? It is a senior abii junior that they will connect you with that is a best friend. Liars liars pant on fires!"
"Adachukwu! What's your own na?! Biko Chika don't mind her. Mate is whatever you want it to be. You guys can be best friends or lesbian partners sef, depends on you."
"So why did you buy the whole tuck shop for her. How many times have you sponsored Gloria's break?"Ada asked again.
Gloria was Chisom's very close friend from A class.
"See,if you keep listening to this girl,you will run mad." Chisom said to me, ignoring Ada.
"Senior take your stuff and your change" the junior student I sent had returned with the things I asked her to buy. I took mine and gave Chisom her things.
"Come Blossom,take the two Fanta,three meat pies and egg rolls to SS2B and give them to Senior Solange."
"From who?"
"You don't know my name?!"
"Sorry." She said as she scurried out of the class.
"Bess Bess!" Ada mocked from her seat.
Chisom ignored her. Blossom returned a while later with the snacks."Senior she said I should give it back to you".
"Ah,why?" Olivia spoke for the first time since the whole banter.
"Bessss beessss. Bess my ass. Take it to Gloria oo. She will appreciate." Ada laughed in a very annoying tone.
"Come Blossom,take."Chisom gave her the Zobo and one meat pie "thank you jare."
"Senior thank you." She said and left the class.
"Som, what happened? Why did she send it back?" Faith asked.
"Long story."
"Biko. K'anyi dosa godu the thing! Who is begging her?" Olivia turned and faced us. Typical Olivia, I would have been surprised if she didn't react like that. The girl is very crazy.
"I will take one Fanta and two meat pies,you guys can share the rest." Chisom gave the snacks to the rest of us. We were about six that shared the rest.
"It's almost break over. What do we have next abeg?" I asked.
"Lit/Geo/Fin.Acct. Double period!" Chisom answered.
"Shit!" Olivia swore.
"Nna eeehhh." Faith groaned.
Grrrrriiiiiiinnnnggggggg!!!
Break was over and the Financial accounting teacher came in immediately. Our class was their venue.
"Ngwaa ooo! If you are not offering Accounting leave here now. Before the count of 10!"
This woman sef eee. I just pity the people doing the kind Accounting sef. Mtchewwwww
Olivia,Faith,Chisom and I took our things and left. I had Literature while they had Geography.
