Gavin's P.O.V

I can't believe I was stupid enough to hurt her I mean I don't see myself ever shutting out the most greatest friend ever just for my girlfriend I mean I love my girlfriend to death she'd never cheat on Me and that's a fact I know

Me and Rebecca have been friends since pre k and she's always had that personality where she was brave adventurous daring funny and adorable now ever since I shut her out its pre k all over again

She's shy adorable and that's it she isn't her natural fun self I remember her first day if pre k she was new and I went up to her and gave her a flower my mom said i can give to the teacher but I gave it to her and she liked it then we started to play blocks and that's the day we became friends I smiled and told her friends forever and she nodded and repeated it back friends forever that's when her mom and

My mom became good friends with her mom and we went to the same school as each other until highschool when I got my girlfriend I never sat with her at lunch she always at by herself while people laughed at her ......wait now I know she likes me and she's jealous I have a girlfriend how come I never saw this coming all I need to do is ask her if she does get her a boyfriend and we'll be friends again and best of all she won't be sad

I just sat there with my arms around her body as she jumped a few times at the thunder/lightning storm *BOOM!!* it said making a loud thud that caused her to whimper in Her sleep as I hugged her tightly and whispered "Its ok your best friend is here just sleep and I won't let the storm hurt you" she then nodded her head and she out her head down and put it on my chest listening to my heartbeat falling asleep on me as I feel asleep on her

A few hours later I woke up and Rebecca was gone she probably went home because her parents were going crazy so I went downstairs and smelled breakfast just when I thought she left she was downstairs making breakfast with my mom as they talked so I hid on the steps and decided to eavesdrop

"Yeah your mom changed a lot so I see why you want to live here"......"yeah and I haven't seen Gavin in 8 months he's my best friend it wasn't right for him to shut me out" I saw my mom nod in agreement "I saw his girlfriend banging your ex how did you take the whole thing" I looked at my mom and Rebecca In pure shock so they saw my girlfriend banging Rebecca's ex boyfriend she was right my girlfriend is a cheater but why like I don't understand I treated her with respect I loved her and I was sweet loving and I was an over protective boyfriend what more can she ask for "well I was devastated to be be honest but I decided not to tell Gavin because I knew he wouldn't believe me yet along he'll think I'm jealous and I'm not I don't like him he's like a brother to me" I frowned and thought about how stupid I was yesterday when I snapped at her all upset and shit when I'm really the one to blame

I then stepped from the stairs and pretended like I didn't hear a thing as I sat on the only empty seat that was left because my mom and Rebecca was seating on the other two I ruffled my hands threw my hair and glanced up at both of them who were now looking at me but Rebecca quickly turned away and she checked the bacon that was cooking in the stove to the left

"So honey how was your sleep Rebecca here told me you were her thunder buddy isn't that sweet" she said pinching my cheeks

"Mum stop I'm an adult boy not a baby"

She smirked "you live in my house under my rules so it technically makes you a baby " I chuckled a bit

"You love to embarrass me do you" she pinched my cheek again as Rebecca handed me a plate of breakfast but didn't make any eye contact with me "um I'm going to take a shower" she said and stepped out the kitchen is she on her pierod or something

Rebecca's P.O.V

I couldn't bare to look at Gavin nor was I able to talk to him because I knew one word about anything and he'll turn it into an argument and from what happened yesterday I'm really not in the

Mood I need a break a break from all this bull crap and I definitely won't be returning back home so a job is what I need if I was gonna get a house soon and get a better life a job is a way to get me one step ahead

I walked downstairs and Gavin was gone good he probably went to got see that rat

I then walked up to his mom "I need your help" she gasps "whats wrong is someone after my baby" she grabs me and gives me a big hug "I won't let them hurt you sweetie" I laughed "no Im looking for a job"

She then let go of me and clapped her hands in excitement and grabbed my arm taking me to the living room as we sat on the rug like three year olds she then pulled out a big poster with jobs that were available

"Pick one you'd be fine working at I know every single one of the bosses here maybe they'd like to get more help" I looked at her blessed and then I  hugged her "thanks so much" she smiled and nodded I pulled away from the hug and looked around there was lots of jobs

There was babysitting nope not dealing with brats waitress at olive garden no way I don't like the costumers that go there

I found it an assistant teacher for highschool that's perfect "I'll be an assistant teacher at crawford highschool"

She nodded her head "that's great I'll call the principal and ask if he would be willing to let you become an assistant to any teacher "

I nodded and headed up to my room as I got a call from luke .........................
