Chapter 2

It's been at least 3 days since I've talked to Liam. After that argument that morning, I left the kitchen and locked myself in my room. It was the first day I actually cut myself. I kept cutting my wrist until the dripping blood covered my entire forearm. My arm started to feel extremely numb while the blood continued to slowly drip. I didn't even step out of my room that whole day, avoiding my band mates.

As usual, we had a radio interview to go to like we always do. We reached the radio station in about an hour, greeted by our adoring fans. The interview was a bit short, only Harry and Liam answering most of the questions while Louis was hitting up jokes in-between and Zayn being the reserved person that he is. But I stayed quite as well, a bit too quite. The boys noticed this and kept trying to bring me in the conversation, but I just gave them a smile and continued to stay silent.

Without realizing my scars appearing, I lifted my sleeves up to my elbows, having Harry at the same moment being able to see the cuts that littered my forearm's skin. He looked up at me, with curious but concerned green eyes. He gave a look saying that he would discuss this later with me. I just stared blankly back at him, trying not to show how worried I should be about Harry's upcoming lecture.

After about fifteen minutes later, the boys and I exited out the radio station to our black van. Paul ushered us quickly inside the van before the fans would start to crowd us in. I was seated next to the window, looking out at the fans and waving at them. The car started to move and slowly the scenery of the radio station disappeared to where you could only see streets. I kept looking out of the window, trying to avoid talking to the boys.

"Well that was a rather short radio interview," Louis stated, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, sure was," Liam added. The little conversation between Louis and Liam didn't last very long. The silence between the boys and me stayed most of the ride back to our complexes.

As we were walking away from the van, I saw Harry and Louis walk towards their flat door. Harry was telling Louis something and Louis ended up nodding, opening their flat door and closing the door behind him. As I was walking towards my flat door, Harry started approaching me with a serious look on his face. I knew what was coming, but I really wasn't in the mood for it.

Harry blocked my way from any access to the door. He lifted my arm up and rolled up my sleeves to reveal the one-day old cuts on my forearm. I looked away to my right side, keeping eye contact from Harry as much as possible. He still had my arm in his grasp, as to make sure to remind me what he's here to talk about.

"So, could you care to explain what this is all about?" Harry asked seriously, pointing at my forearm. I could feel his green orbs searching through my appearance, like as if he's trying to find answers through my actions.

"It's none of your damn business!" I snapped back. I kept struggling from Harry to let go of my wrist.

"This IS my damn business! For God sakes Niall, you're fucking CUTTING yourself now! How do you think it feels for us to see our band mate, our friend, our BROTHER constantly hurting himself like this in front of our own eyes, huh?!" Harry yelled with hurt and anger both. I kept my eyes away from him, but I could feel that he had tears in his eyes anyway.

"Niall, what happened to you? You were never like this. But ever since the bridge-" I stopped Harry in mid sentence.

"Don't EVER talk about what happened on the bridge to me!" I yelled at him with a new founded anger. I turned to look at him and saw that he had a look of shock on his face. I had never yelled at anyone like that, especially to any of the lads.

There was a split second of silence before Harry spoke. "You really are being difficult, you know that? I'm just gonna let you sort your shit out before I'm even allowed to have a REAL conversation with you," Harry spat the words at my face.
