Chapter 1
●●●
Taehyung had never been too fond of vampires. Many weren't. No matter how ‚friendly' vampires nowdays supposedly were, there were quite a lot of sceptics and Taehyung certainly was one of them.
Though he tried his best not to let it show. He wasn't the type to pick fights or have enemies. Throughout his daily life he usually just avoided vampires for the most part and when he ended up talking to one he at least tried to be polite. Maybe not exactly friendly, but polite.
But as one knows, the exception proves the rule and there was one vampire Taehyung just couldn't help clashing with.
Jeon Jungkook. Taehyung had no idea when exactly it had started. After he had transferred to this school he had just slowly started butting heads with Jungkook more and more. Now, two years later, he absolutely despised that guy.
Everything he stood for. Everything he was.
But because of their awesome relationship to one another they also often got in trouble. Which was exactly what happened when their PE teacher had sent them to clean the shed in which they stored the sports equipment after they had once again gotten into a huge fight with one another.
"If you had just passed me that fucking ball we wouldn't have lost." Jungkook grumbled from where he was sitting on the floor, tying jump ropes together.
"I didn't even see you. There are other players too, you know?" Not bothering to check if Jungkook was done, Taehyung wrung out the wiping cloth, put it away and then walked towards the door.
He wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. After all it wasn't like he intentionally started fights with Jungkook.
He actually tried to avoid him, but it just happened.
"I'm done here. I'll tell her, so just leave when you're done." He grabbed the door handle and pushed, but nothing happened. He pushed again, trying to get the door to open, but it didn't even budge. After another couple of times of trying the handle he gave up turning, around to Jungkook, who didn't mind him, his hands quickly working over the ropes, his back facing Taehyung.
"Jungkook. I can't open the door. I think it's stuck."
Jungkook turned around, raising an eyebrow before smirking cheekily. Taehyung really wanted to hit him.
"Weak."
Taking his time to get up and dust off his pants Jungkook walked over to Taehyung, who moved to the side, crossing his arms over his chest. God, he hated Jungkook's attitude. It was like the guy always acted superior.
So when Jungkook tried to open the door and it didn't move for him either, Taehyung couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit of satisfaction. Jungkook tried again, pushing harder, roughly moving the handle up and down a couple of times, but the door didn't move. "What the..." He pushed his shoulder against it. Nothing.
"It's locked."
It took Taehyung a couple of seconds to register that that was not amusing, even if Jungkook didn't manage to open the door either. If the door was actually locked that was pretty bad. Actually, like one of the things Taehyung had kept imagining whenever he stayed in his class when he was staying late. Being locked in at school.
But it was a bit too early to panic. So instead he glanced around the room, searching for the window. There was one, just big enough to crawl through. Bingo.
Taehyung walked over, feeling Jungkook's eyes on his back. In order to reach the window he had to climb onto a pile of gym mats and almost lost his balance, but he wasn't going to trip over his own feet in front of Jungkook. The vampire would never let him live that down.
