Chapter 9

(Maya's leaving for The record thing in this chapter.)

Me and Taylor still haven't talked. It kinda sucks. (It's around like 4:00pm)

I get a text from Zoey.

Today I was wearing. Black ripped jeans with a plain purple shirt. I put my hair in a high tony tail.

"Maya, Zoeys here" I hear Mrs Grier yell "Coming" I say coming down the stairs.

"Let's go" she says going to the car. "What have you been doing the last few days?" I ask Zoey "Just hanging at Taylor's with everyone" she says "Cool" I say "How about you" She asks "My mom left yesterday, but spent the week with her" I say

"Fun"she says and I nod

We get to Taylor's place and she walks in and I walk in after her.

"Hey" Matt says "Hi" I say sitting down next to him. I look over at Taylor and he was looking at me.

"So how is your mom?" Matt asks "She's good" I say and then everyone just had there own conversations, I just sat there being quite

"Wow Maya is actually being quite that's new"Carter says "Shut up Cartahh" I say "Nahh" he says "Yahh" I say "Damm she ain't being quite anymore" he says "Well I would still be if you didn't say that" I say "Dam why did you say that Carter" he says "Shut up" I say

"Let's go swimming" Julie says "Nah" me and Taylor both say at the same time. "Okay" everyone says and then they go get changed and then go in the pool.

Well this isn't awkward at all. I don't know what me and Taylor are anymore. Friends, Dating I have no idea.

"So today is your last day here?" Taylor asks and I nod "Cool" he says "Yep" I say "So where does this leave us?" I ask "I don't know" he says "Where do you want this to leave us?" I ask him "I don't know" he says

"That's your answer for everything today isn't it?" I ask and he shrugs "Okay" I say "Where do you want this to leave us?" He asks "all I know is that I want you in my life" I say

He walks over to me and sits beside me. "The other day why where you acting weird" he asks "I thought if I pushed you away I wouldn't miss you when I was gone, that didn't help because I miss you and I'm in the same room as you" I say

"I'm gonna miss you so much" he says "I'm gonna miss you too" I say looking down a felt a tear slide down my cheek but the he wipes it away "Why are you crying?" He asks "I'm gonna miss you so much that's all" I say looking down

He lifts up my chin and looks me in the eyes "I'm gonna miss you more" he says "Don't think so" I say. Then he leans in and kisses me. I felt butterfly's in my stomach.

"What's wrong with us" I say laughing "What do you mean?" He asks "We always fight then make up like a week later" I say "Maybe that's because we love each other" he says "Maybe" I say giving him a peck on the lips.

"Awww" Zoey says "How long have you been there?" I ask "Since the part when he said 'Maybe that's because we love each other'" I look over at the time it was 5:30 I sigh

"I got to go" I say getting up "I'll drive you" Taylor says and I nod and we drive to my place.

Once we get there we just sit there in silence for a minute or two.

"Do you wanna come in?" I ask "Sure" he says. I grab his hand and we go in the house

"We'll be in my room until I have to go to the airport." I say to Mrs Grier and she nods and we go into my room.

"I wish you weren't leaving" he says looking at the floor. He sits on the end of my bed. I go on my knees in front of him and lift up his chin "I don't want to leave" I say.

I kiss him and are lips move in perfect sync. (They did the nastys again lol I'm not gonna write a smut scene because 1 don't want my book to get repeated and 2 I just suck at writing them so YA )

So that just happened... "Maya its almost time to go" I hear Mrs Grier say "Okay I'll be down in a couple minutes" I yell down to her. Taylor is just sitting on the chair I have in my room and I go look out on the balcony.

I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I turn around and kiss Taylor "Well I guess I got to get going" I say sighing and he nods.

"I can drive you to the airport" he says and I nod.

We just listened to music jurying the car ride. We pull up to the airport and just sit there in silence. "So where does this leave us" he asks "Where do you want this to leave us" I say "Together?" He says and I nod

I just sit there for a few minutes. "Well I should get going to security" I say "I love you, Maya" he says "I love you, Taylor" I say. I give him a kiss and then go to security.

A few minutes later my phone goes off. It was Instagram notification it said "@taylorcaniff tagged you in a picture" It was a picture of me he took when we first started dating the caption was

'Gonna miss this girl over the next three months' I comment on it saying 'Gonna miss you more' my flight gets called and then I go

Okay so next chapter it's gonna be 3 months later because I don't know what to write for a chapter when they separated so YA.. Sorry it's short too because my sister was bugging me and also her friend was so ya.
