Chapter 12

Next day

Maya's POV

"That new year new me is bull" I say too Zoey "Everyone says it and then it's just like yeah nah" she says and I laugh "Your dieing your hair brown again" I say "Yeah I know you told me a million times" she says

"Let's go grab the hair die" I say "We have to tell Bart" Zoey says "Or nah" I say "We have too" Zoey says "Or we can leave through the dance studio way" I say and she nods

We leave through the studio doors and walk to the Walmart down the road and grab the darkest brown hair die that's there "I never said I was dieing it dark brown" Zoey says "You are now" I say grabbing the hair die.

"We didn't think this plan through" I say laughing "No we didn't how are we going to get back in" Zoey says "I'll text Matt" I say

I text Matt and he lets us in. "For once I didn't get caught" I say and Zoey laughs "Where were you two?" Bart asks walking down the hall "Spoke too soon" I whisper "We where in the dance studio" I say "Maya if I catch you sneaking out one more time your not coming to the next magcon" Bart says

"Okay calm down" I say and then we walk away "Someone was a little pissy" I say "Wait wait wait you let us in and you didn't get in trouble" Zoey says too Matt "Because I'm awesome like that" Matt says "Sure you are" I say

"I don't get the problem with us leaving without tellin him" Zoey says "He thinks like we're going to like die or something" I say "So we leave to go to magcon for freedom and he acts just like are parents" Zoey says laughing "Well we aren't living with are parents for long, I don't live with my parents but I'm 18. Your 18 in like 3 months" I say

"Me, you, Tess and Julie should live together" Zoey says "Julie is still 16" I say "She can ask her parents" Zoey says "Okay" I say

We go back to the hotel room so I could die her hair.

I finished dieing her hair and she looks so pretty "You look so much better with brown hair" I say "I hate having brown hair" She says "Too bad!" I say and she laughs

"Cameron come look at your girlfriend" I yell and then Cameron comes "You look cute" Cameron says "Thanks" she says "What are we doing tonight?" She asks "We might go to a party" Cameron says "Don't tell me your drinking because your gonna have a hangover" Zoey says

"Are you going?" I ask Zoey "I will if you and the girls are" Zoey says "I will I'll ask Tess and Julie" I say then leave the room

I ask them and they say yes "They said yes" I say "Okay let's get ready" Zoey says all the girls get ready in Zoeys room.

"Can I pick your outfit?" Zoey asks me "You pick mine I pick yours?" I ask and she nods

She gets me a black tank top with a white long sleeved crop top with black leggings and my black Adidas because I don't wear heels. She also gets me a black zip up sweater

I get her a white tank top with almost the same shirt as she got me but in pink with skinny jeans and her pink wedges I also get her a black leather jacket.

I do my normal makeup and straighten my hair Zoey straighten it because I didn't want too because my hair is up to my waist I put on a white bandana.

Zoey does black smokey eye makeup and curls her hair.

Tess was wearing a blue crop top with black leggings with white Jean shorts over and was wearing blue flats she was wearing a white sweater. She just left her hair natural and did natural makeup.

Julie was wearing black shirt with a pink sweater she was wearing skinny jeans with pink wedges and curled her hair she also did natural makeup.

We all took a selfie together doing the fierce signs I posted it the caption was

'Going out with these hotties 😙'

We all meet in the lobby and tell Bart where we were going. It's about 11pm when we get to the party.

The guys where drinking and we where just hanging out dancing and stuff. Guys kept flirting with us but the only one that was single was Julie.

We all go sit on the couch then this dude comes up too us "Hey I'm Toby" he says "Hi I'm Julie they are Zoey, Maya and Tess" Julie says pointing at us. I just go on my phone and text people while they where talking.

"Let me guess she's the anti social one?" He says pointing too me and they all nod "Am not" I say "Are too" Julie says "Your always on your phone" Tess says "You guys are then prettiest girls at the party" he says looking at me (Random)

"Yeah the only single one here is Julie" I say too him "Sucks" he says I see Taylor and Cameron across the room "Yeah I see my boyfriend so I'm leaving You guys coming" I ask and Zoey nods and Tess and Julie say no

"Hey" I say walking up too Taylor "Hey" he says "You've been drinking?" I ask "Only 1 or 2" he says "Okay" I say "It's almost midnight!" Zoey says "It's 11:59" I say "New years kiss" Zoey says "10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..3..1" everyone countdowns "Happy New year" Everyone says and I kiss Taylor and Zoey kisses Cameron.

We stay for another hour or two and then we decide too leave. Me and Zoey are the only 2 people that didn't drink. "Have fun in the morning" I say too Taylor because he's gonna have a hangover

We get too the hotel and everyone goes to sleep but me because I just stay up until like 3am.

Next Morning:

"Morning babe" I say too Taylor "My heads killing me" he says and I laugh "Why you laughing?" He asks "No reason" I say "So what are you doing today?" He asks "Going riding" I say "Like horse?" He asks "Yeah I've been riding since I was 10" I say "You never told me this because?" He asks "You never asked" I say

I put my skinny jeans on with my cowgirl boots I am wearing a blue plade shirt. I put my hair in a braid then put on my cowgirl hat.

"What time are you gonna be gone until?" Taylor asks "Like 5 maybe 6 Zoey is coming" I say and he nods "Well I'm leaving now" I say walking out the door.

I get down to the lobby and Zoey was waiting for me. "Hey" I say "Ready too go?" She asks "Yep"

We get in the limo and go to the horse riding place.

We go riding for about an hour until I get a phone call. "Hello?" I ask because I didn't know the number "You have to get back, your dad has been in a terrible car accident" the phone says

I tell Zoey and me and her rush back to the hotel.

I walk back into the hotel room and see Taylor kissing some girl. He looks at me shocked "Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt anything." I grab my stuff and leave.

"Maya wait" I hear Taylor say running after me "There's nothing you can say or do so just save it" I say walking away.

Skip the plane ride

My plane lands and my mom was waiting for me "Mom" I say running up too her and hugging her "He past" she said and then I just broke out crying.
