Connor x reader

       "Ow, ow O-OWW!!! Connor just hurry up and pull it out already please!!" you hollered in pain. 

       "Just a little more and that's it I promise...there it's all out," he said while removing the last little fragment of a bullet that was stuck in your arm. "You're such a girl," he said while cleaning up the blood from your arm. 

       "Shut up Connor, you're just jealous of my skills." 

       "Yes, because I want the skill of attracting bullets towards myself," he said with a mischievous grin.

       You two had been on a mission to capture a fort in the frontier which was heavily guarded, you decided to lure them away so Connor would have an easier time getting in and waste less time fight the redcoats. Your plan had worked; you ran inside and shot a small keg of gunpowder which of course got everyone's attention on you.  You made a run for it and Connor ran inside dealing with guards that remained and took over the fort. But while he was preoccupied with that you fought the guards that chased you. One of them shot you in the arm; but you didn't feel it at the time since you had too much adrenaline in you so you continued to fight without a problem. As soon as you got the fort you began to feel and sharp pain in your arm, you thought nothing of it until Connor pointed it out. 

       "Oh look at that, I've been shot" you said unfazed by it. You two both made your way back to the homestead; by the time you both got there you were feeling the full pain from the small little wound on your arm.

       And that's how you got here; Achilles walked into Connor's room wondering what was going and saw you with a wound in your arm and looked at Connor chuckling and walking away. You began blushing; knowing exactly what Achilles was thinking and you looked away from Connor. He noticed your red face and made you look at him, he touched you forehead and looked at you in the eyes concerned, his touch only made you blush more. 

       "________  are you okay? You're warm and becoming red as we speak." 

       "Yes I'm fine" you said taking in a deep breath and moving his hand away from you. You had feelings towards him; everyone knew that, everyone except Connor. The townsfolk would tease you and ask you when you'll finally reveal your feelings to him, but you never could. It wasn't because of fear of rejection; it was fear that if he would reject you that he wouldn't dare go near you afterwards. You hadn't realized it but tears began to form in your eyes and all you did was sit there, quietly, completely lost in thought. Connor was even more concerned at the fact that you, the person he'd never seen cry; the beautiful girl with (h/l) (h/c) and dazzling (e/c) eyes was crying.

       "_______?!" him calling out your name was all it took for you to snap out of your thoughts and look at him, the tears finally streaming down your face. You quickly wiped them away and looked away feeling embarrassed for crying. You quickly stood up and ran out of the room and downstairs and ran all the way to the frontier. You still heard him calling after you by the time you made it to the border of great peace hills and diamond basin. You climbed up a tree, hoping it would lessen the chances of him finding you, bad choice, you never seen him pass by which made you think that he went in a different direction, you sighed in relief. But as soon as you turned around you saw him right behind you which caused to spasm and lose your footing slightly. 

       As you fell back his reflexes kicked in causing him to grab your foot before you feel out of his reach. You looked at the ground then up at him, he pulled you up and held you close. 

       "Why'd you run off like that" he said sounding concerned. The proximity between you two made you blush immensely, you tried to tell him that you were embarrassed but nothing came out of your mouth, only small noises were. Tears began to form in your eyes once more and soon they began to stream down your face. He held you close and rubbed your back soothingly as you did. 

       "I-I'm sorry..." you finally said. He kissed your forehead unintentionally and as soon as you both realized you both began to blush and look at each other. 

       "I'm so sorry _______ I-I didn't mean to, I just uh..." a little smile began to form on your face and you kissed his cheek and smiled. You leaned back and looked at him, he was shocked and you could tell he was blushing immensely; you let out a small chuckle and he kissed your cheek. You didn't really blush because he was a bit too predictable.

~later that day~

       The townsfolk found out about the relationship and were happy and cheerful that you were both finally together. You were with Ellen about random things will Connor was at the homestead.

       "Connor" said Achilles with a smile on his face. 

       "Yes old man?" 

       "I would like to congratulate you on finally growing a pair and getting in a relationship with her." He said with a mischievous grin on his face. Of course later that night when you two were laying down he asked you what Achilles meant.

        "Hey ________?" 

       "Yes Connor?" 

       "Earlier Achilles told me 'I would like to congratulate you on finally growing a pair' what does he mean by that?" you immediately turned red and you looked away from him and began to laugh. "What's so funny?" 

"Nothing Connor don't worry about it...," after the small exchange of words you both went to sleep. The next day you laughed as soon as you seen Achilles.
