A summer to remember☀️

Chapter 3 : Long Drive

We was well on are way to florida, passing by cars and signs. Heather took a nap while I just listened to music. Once we passed the Georgia and South Carolina border I slipped into a nap. "We are here!" My dad said in a happy voice. i looked around and saw cars

and this large ship in front of me. I couldn't believe my eyes, the oasis of the seas was right in front of me. I didn't have time to take it all in with this 90 degree weather, I had to get my bags and things out of the car.

We all walked into the building then after about a 30 minute check in we boarded the ship with time to spare. Me and heather had rooms together and the rest of my family had shared or as the crew like to call them joint rooms together. Around 8 in the afternoon we left Florida and headed out to sea.

I walked out on deck while everyone was settling into the rooms. I took a stroll down the middle neighborhood, the only ship with a park on it. I was about to walk inside to go to the boardwalk neighborhood until I heard a guy singing a song near the parks exit. It sounded really good, he had this couple dancing to his song.

As I stop to listen he looked at me with a smile that could melt a thousand suns. As he was singing I closed my eyes to just feel the music in my heart. I opened my eyes back up in time for when he got up to sing to me as he stopped playing the guitar, he wrapped his arms around me as we moved side to side.
